Skullcandy Riff Wireless Bluetooth On Ear Headphone with Mic (Black)

Thought I was the lucky one. Until, one day it decided to snap randomly as I was putting it on my head. It was an amazing headphone while it worked. It has everything, bass, clarity, affordability, you name it. But if a product worth 4500 breaks after 6 months then it's not really worth it. No matter how good it was. Believe the reviews. Don't be foolish thinking that you'll get lucky, you won't!! The product is extremely fragile and one day it's just going to break, all of a sudden. Please re consider before purchasing this product.

The build quality: 1. The speaker cups have rubberised finish, gives a premium feel, but then again not best for rough use. 2. Completely plastic body, makes the headphone lite. 3. No requirement for the head cushions is felt as the headphones are already very lite.4. Ear cushions are really soft and comfortable.5. Somehow on long use, felt a little sweaty on ears on room temperatures(no AC).6. In an air conditioned environment, flawless.Sound: 1. Deep bass. 2. Clean mids. 3. Highs are a bit suppressed, but still not missed.- Connectivity is pretty much hassle free and range would be around 12 feet, connection persists across a medium sized room.Overall, go for it, one of the best experiences I’ve had.

I dont like this at all the issue is once u disconnect the bluetooth with ur phone or laptop nd clicked forget this device this headphones dont show their name again , so how can someone reconnect with it. Very disappointed.

I know I am paying over 3000 rupees just for the brand name. Build quality is really flimsy. The entire headphone is made out of plastic and got cracked only after one month of use.Sound quality is good. Noise cancellation is average. I wore it for over 4 hours and my ears didn't hurt so that's a plus. I will mostly use it at gym and that's the main reason I bought these. I hate bulky headphones on head when lifting weight.So my recommendation is that you look for some other headphones. These one aren't durable and too expensive for a plastic headphone.If you want something for voice calling, gaming or if you just want to listen to music. There are much better headphones available for cheaper price.

And can't fix it.Advice for those who already Have this product: Handle with atmost care! It's fragile like a glass!

The build quality is very poor especially on the hinges where we adjust the haedphone size. I have neither dropped it and also always keep it inside a hard case that I bought separately for the headphones but it still broke on the hinges after around 3.5months of daily usage. I am yet to call the customer care regarding this issue as Skullcandy has a warranty for an year. The sound quality is good for those who actually listen to the details in songs, the bass is pretty nice, the Matt colour finish is also good but the hinges are very week. For a 4k+ product and that too from Skullcandy, I expected a better built quality. I would recommend you guys to go for another model/brand that has metal hinges or better built quality. Also I completely forgot, you cannot go for a run/jog/bend down while having it on as it doesn't fit tight on the head.Will keep you updated on what Amazon replies back to my query on replacing the product or getting it fixed.Update: Amazon hasn't responded back, as usual this is the service quality in India

Awesome weapon:DIm useing skullcandy crusher but i also want a bluetooth headset but in little low budget and i think its the perfect option. Its cost me in 3k its the worth weapon in this range .The ear pads are very soft and comfortable.I just love them but i think we should also get a carry bag with it otherwise awesome sound great comfort just go for it:)***HERE'S A HELP FOR ALL BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES USERS.IF YOUR HEADPHONES DIDN'T CONNECT AFTER UNPAIRED THEN HOLD THE SWITCHONN BUTTON AFTER YOUR HEADPHONES IS ONN THEN YOUR HEADPHONES AGAIN GOES IN PAIRING MODE .IF ITS NOT WORKING THN JUST SIMPLY USE YOUTUBE:)THANKS:D

- These headphones do not pair with all devices. It does not pair with my work laptop or my personal one. Neither does it pair with my wife's phone. The only thing it pairs with is my Xiaomi phone. This renders it nearly useless as there isn't a wire jack option- The material on the muffs start to peel off in 6 months and sticks to everything - your ears, body, pillows, etc.- The on the ear option is not good as it's not suited for prolonged usage. Better to go for over the ear option- The sound quality is good. The Bluetooth range also works across rooms- It has good battery life, recharges pretty quickly- At this price you hv better options. Not worth it at all

Actualización: después de medio año de uso y eso apezar que los ocupe muy poco, al estar escuchándolos se empezó a distorsionar el sonido, de repente se apagaron y ya no prendieron creí que se agotó la batería pero no!! al conectarlos ya no prendieron, los lleve a skullcandy para hacer valida la garantía, después de sus días de revisión me ponen que es garantía por uso rudo eso quiere decir que te cobrarán el 50% al precio de su catalogo, que los tienen en $1799, que serían $900,lo que no es factible ya que los agarre en $605. El punto es el por que metieron la garantía así, si no hice uso rudo de ellos simplemente los estaba escuchando y se apagaron, en si no te dicen ni que tenían solo es pagar lo que te piden o tu producto descompuesto, que por cierto ni el 50% era de $1799 tenía que pagar $1049, decidí llamar a skullcandy por el motivo de su decisión y me dijeron que no tenían convenio con amazon osea que cual fuera la falla, por solo comprarlos con Amazon me iban a cobra y no el 50% de descuento, les mencioné que no mejor iba por mi producto!! En fin no me dan ganas de volver a comprar esta marca aunque estén en descuento!! El producto es muy bonito, ligero y cómodo. La combinación de colores me gusto mucho!! Los encontré en buen precio ($605). Pero el audio creo que queda a deber por que los compare con unos Panasonic que me costaron menos de $600 y ya que el modelo de los Panasonic no se compara, la calidad de audio es mucho mejor y no se diga la duración de la batería casi un mes solo usándolos un par de horas, 4 días a la semana estos ya los probé y estos skull no dura ni una semana la batería usándolos 2 horas diarias en este aspecto si me decepcionaron! ! Los comparó con estos Panasonic por el precio ya que son semejantes y no pagaría mas de $1000 por estos Skullcandy Riff!! También se oyen igual que los Skullcandy Ink'd y el precio de estos ronda aprox en $500! En el gym van muy bien aunque no aislen por completo pero eso si los tienes que estar secando seguido si no se mojaran las esponjas por el sudor!! En conclusión buena opción con un buen descuento!!

Riff? These are super lightweight, if you like your headphones to have a little weight on them then you won't like these. These are by far the lightest headphone I've come across thus far. Now the all important sound department, sound is obviously different for everyone and to me these actually sound average. Something you'd get from a £15-25 headphones. I've owned the wired skullcandy uproar ones and they sounded fantastic. I wouldn't pay the asking price for these because I know there's headphones being sold at half the price and sound better. Durability? Honestly these a lot of reviews on here about the durability and how weak these are but you can't understand how they could break by looking at just the pictures, it's not until you actually hold these that you realise how flimsy they actually feel, Im thinking it was a design choice to keep them light. Sure are light, but so light they end up feeling super cheap and nasty

Efficient service from amazon , arrived 2 days before due date.Great value for moneyWhat can I say these have to be the best headphones I have ever had, I’ve got a collection of inner ear , my ears were sore after use, now they are in the bin.Sound and quality is crystal clear,So comfy on my ears, I actually forget I have them on. My partner had the dearer model he says they are better than Sony 👎.Charge time is only an hr, and lasts for a while as I use them all the time.I would recommend them to my friends

The one option I couldn't rate is the build quality. Very flimsy plastic. Feels like it's going to snap every time I try to extend it to place it over my head, until one day it did. It lasted a few months and the sound quality and comfort are ideal for my intended purpose of using it down them gym but when I purchase my next headphones I will make sure they use metal materials for any moving parts.

I bought a pair of these headphones a year and a half ago and it's the best money I've ever spent on headphones, as I'm someone who can't leave the house without headphones on so I wear them at least 4 hours a day, 6 days a week. The only sign that mine isn't brand new is some minor wear on the rubber covering the power button and some slight displacement of the earmuff sponges that have shaped to my ears.10 minutes charge time is still 2 hours of use and I'm not having ANY issues with the speakers at all.My only, tiny issue when I first got them, is that I wear glasses and the earmuffs were quite tight on my ears which pushed the ends of my glasses into the sides of my head - causing minor discomfort but they loosened up after a short while of wearSo they'll last you a while
