I'd always wanted a real neon sign, but in shopping around, I found that most neon signage seemed to consist of the same kinds of thing - beer ads, stuff you'd see in sports bars etc. When I saw this one, I knew I had to have it!It arrived in a large box, which was surprisingly lightweight. The sign itself weighs very little, but the large box was needed for the amount of protective packing (the sign was extremely well packaged). The attached power lead is about 1.25m in length, with an on/off switch. You also get a UK adapter. Everything worked first time.I have the sign on a shelf on my living room. There is also an attached chain for hanging it on a wall (riskier, since it's mostly made of glass). This is the first piece of neon lighting I've owned, and it's brighter than I expected - when it's on, it pretty much lights the whole room. The effect is very different from LED light - it has a fantastic organic quality to it, and the lighting is far more uniform. The colour is somewhere between pink and indigo.Real neon signs are fairly fragile, but with care, can last for many years. I've heard of some lasting decades.Overall, very pleased.
