Q: advertise as a 110v but on the picture there is a sticker 220v ....is this auto volt

Both are available. Look for different listings and find one that does not have both voltages listed. I found one listing that was 110v and it is not auto voltage. I do not trust listings that have a contradiction.

Hi, Yes i can use with a 1 hp well pump.

Q: does the pump still let the water flow, even if the power is off?

This unit shuts the power off to the pump once wire correctly so with power off there is no water flow.

Your question is not clear. Does it run a few seconds with water going into the input then shut off when pressure builds up because the water output is shut off? If that is the case it is working properly. My unit will turn on and provide power to the pump until it reaches the shut off pressure because the out flow is shut off. If the out flow is open the pump will continue pumping providing water under pressure. If your unit is hooked up to a system and cycles even though no valve is open there is a leak in your system somewhere allowing the pressure to drop to the point that the power is turned on.

Works

Perfect replacement for the original controller I had installed (made in Europe). They sell the same one under a different brand name locally for over $70 in the local hardware store.In a traditional system this replaces the pump pressure switch, pressure tank and low level switch. The system senses when water is needed by monitoring pressure. When a faucet is opened in the house, the pressure drops in the line and the pump will start, the pump will run continuously until the pressure builds up again (once the faucet is closed). If there is no water in the line (the storage tank is empty), the unit will detect that no pressure is being raised and will stop the pump to protect it. It will not damage your pump, I have the same pump running in this configuration for around eight years.In terms of quality and durability of this unit, time will tell.The only con I can think of is that you would spend more in electricity under this setup versus a traditional pressure tank setup since the pump runs all the time water is needed.

I got this product because it stated it would work ...

I got this product because it stated it would work from 110v to 220v but what I received only states it operates at 220. I haven't used it yet as I will now have get a pair of transformers to use it.Edit: Okay I have installed and tested it and it does work at 120v

Finally installed seems to work fine. It is confusingly marked both 120 volt and 240 volt. I installed on a 120 volt pump and it works fine. I installed on a municipal water supply to control pump boosting pressure up my hill. It is a exact copy of the control I used to get from HF.

Do you feel lucky?

First one work for a few weeks then it doesn't shut off the pump. Got a replacement and hope it doesn't fail again.Update: 2nd one failed again after a short period of time.
