Good purchase, with a caveat - read on...
I ordered this using the standard free shipping option on December 18, 2014, and I received it on December 22, 2014, well before its projected delivery time. Can't complain about that! Package arrived with all contents complete and intact. The assembly instructions were a bit vague, but if you've got common sense, you'll have no trouble putting it together. In reading the reviews of this product, the big issue with this particular item appears to be the exercise ball portion of it. My experience with it was maybe a little different than everyone else's. I followed the inflation instructions to a T. I read all directions, and I even watched the YouTube video. I'm no dummy, and the instructions are easy enough. HOWEVER - when I inflated the ball to 80% using the handy, included measuring tape (42cm), the ball appeared to still be really baggy and floppy; I tried bouncing it off the floor, basketball-style, and it just kind of went "plop." I'm thinking that either (a) this ball had been inflated previously, or (b) they may have sent a 55cm ball instead of a 52cm ball. I subsequently went ahead and inflated it to the full 52cm, and it still had a bit of "give" to it, but at least it had a little surface tension and was not flat anymore. I rested it in the chair, put a note on it so nobody would sit on it, and let it "rest" overnight. This morning, I came in, excited to try out my new chair. All was well, until I noticed myself sinking. The ball was inflated to a full 52cm, but it was slowly sliding down into the circular ring. I never actually fell through, but I wasn't about to take that risk. I inflated the ball to about 54cm, and as I sit here now, I am happily sitting on the ball and it is not sliding through the chair. As to the comfort of this thing, I'm really happy. As I have pretty ramrod-straight posture to begin with, anything that doesn't allow me to sit up straight with a stacked spine and shoulders down and back gets REALLY uncomfortable throughout the day - and my old desk chair did not let me do any of that. It was a chair from hell, and good riddance! The ball chair naturally encourages everything I need it to do. My spine is stacked from my tailbone all the way up to my neck, my shoulders are no longer hunched but rather comfortably down and back, and everything from the top of my head from my tailbone feels like it's in the "right" spot. There is a backrest portion to this chair, but I don't foresee myself using it.So - I took one star off for having to futz with the inflation of the ball, but apart from that, I'm really happy with this purchase. Trust me, if you work for years and years in a sedentary job like mine, you will want to take care of your spine... because over time, you can cause irreparable damage. Small price to pay to take a good step to take care of my posture! My elderly self will thank me later. :)

So far pretty good once I made it through the assembly.
This product is exactly as advertised but I did or do have a few complaints.First, the assembly which is very simple in theory, proved almost impossible in practice. The pipes that connect the back rest to the frame didn't line up and we're a fraction too small. I tried lubricants. I tried ice to shrink the metal. I tried another lubricant and a very long spell of ice and FINALLY, after an hour of cursing, managed to wiggle the part into place. The next step, attaching the backrest to the pipe, was also frustrating. The pipes didn't line up either. Fortunately I was able to bend them just enough to make the connection.Let's move on to the ball. There were no instructions on how to use the cheap pump and the plug that is included with the purchase. I struggled for a long time to get the nozzle in deep enough. I was afraid to force it and possibly damage the ball. I even watched the video and it didn't mention anything about the pump or the plug. When I came back the next day to finish inflating it to capacity, I couldn't for the life of me get the plug out. I considered various tools but again I was afraid of puncturing the ball. I finally was able to pry it out with the help of a dime. Manufacturers - you really need to include a plug puller tool! Finally, let's talk about comfort. I had been fore-warned by another reviewer that the back rest is a real pain in the back. She was 100% correct. After a couple hours my spine felt bruised and battered. I turned around to sit with the back in the front and was finally comfortable except typing was a bit awkward.I would consider removing the backrest if only I could get it off.Otherwise, this chair is a great alternative!

YES!
I get so many compliments on this chair! And I love it!It is constructed very well. It supports my weight well (230 pounds...working on getting that down) and glides easily. I spent some time not realizing that the ball was not completely inflated, probably in fear that it would explode if I pumped too much more. Definitely follow the instructions for blowing it up - you have to let it sit for the night without 100% capacity - so don't buy this with the intention of using it the same day (this is true of any chair like this!) Don't skip that part! Then, when you finally do blow it up all the way, know that in a month or so you may want to blow it up further. When I refilled it, the ball didn't touch the group (even despite my weight!) and it changed where the back bolster hit me. When the ball was less full, the back bolster would hit me mid-back, which was comfortable but also allowed a lot of slouching, which was the main reason I bought this; to combat workplace slouching. Now the bolster hits me much lower and I am more in tune with my posture and less able to slouch. In terms of aesthetics, I find that this chair is the best choice to use in a professional setting. Sure, it probably still makes me the "quirky" boss who does weird things like sit on a bouncy ball at work...but it also looks the most refined of all the exercise ball chair choices. I got the black ball and silverish-black metal for the most inconspicuous look as possible. For a while, sitting in this chair would make me really sweaty in the pant area. But after a while, I got used to it and that stopped happening. Some people sell covers for that reason, but I found that the more used to the chair I got, the less sweaty I became in reaction. Finally, I combat ADHD, and this chair is a fun way to get some energy out in order to "sit still" for longer periods. I try to make sure no one is watching or bounce discreetly. But it's super fun and helpful.

The chair is working out well.
The chair is working out well. On suggestion I would make is a strap across to prevent the ball from being pushed through the frame

Not bad but not great
I like the concept but the ball is inflated all the way and it still slowly pushes through the ring. There should be some kind of pan or strap on the underside of the ring to keep the ball from pushing through.
