He can't believe that he may have stumbled upon the missing Iris "Flame" Johnson - one of the missing girls. She is breath-taking beautiful wearing a skin tight black pair of pants that reveals the "flame" tattoo on her hip. Her hair is thick and red peeking out under the helmet and the motorcycle that she is riding is spectacular. Flame believes that Dr. Peter Whitney is still alive and still experimenting on people and orchestrating "military field exercises" perfecting the perfect lethal soldier.Gator follows Flame and observes her scaling the wall at Kurt Saunders guarded gated house and waits for her to return leaning lazily on her spectacular souped up motorcycle. Gator recognizes the power that a Ghostwalker exudes and he knows that HE may be in trouble with this red headed powerful woman.Get comfortable. Be prepared to read this story from start to finish in one setting. The only way this series could be better is to buy the audiobooks and listen to Tom Stechschulte's rich, enthusiastic and talented voice brings the story to a new level!

Sexy a all get out. If we all had a Gator like Raule nobody body would ever get divorced! I think he’s been my favorite so far;)

THE STORY: Raoul "Gator" Fontenot is a member of the GhostHunters, a special force of genetically enhanced paranormal soldiers. Gator goes home to the bayous of New Orleans to search for a local girl gone missing. While there he is asked to also search for Iris "Flame" Johnson who was subjected to the same experiments as Raoul when she was a child. Flame is on her own quests when the two end up meeting. She does know that Gator is part of the same group that is searching for her to return her to the experiments and has no intent on trusting him or allowing him close.OPINION: This was my favorite of the series so far. Raoul is a very sexy Cajun and the relationship between he and Flame is really hot. At the same time, there is great tenderness between the two even while they are seriously deadly people. The contrast between what they can do and who they are makes this book very intriguing. The story was multi-layered and complex. The overarching story of what is happening with the GhostHunters becomes more nuanced and this book makes a reader question of the motives and actions of characters that seemed set in prior books. This book is funny and sexy and dark and a great suspense book as well. This book makes it hard to read the next one because I'd really like to read more about Raoul and Flame than another couple right now.WORTH MENTIONING: This book is noteworthy in the way it forces the reader to question what has happened so far in the series an exciting way.FINAL DECISION: The connection between the characters is strong in this book and I especially loved the angst and love in this book. The relationship between Raoul and Flame is hot. The overarching story in this one was twisty and changed the complexion of what readers thought was happening in this series.CONNECTED BOOKS: NIGHT GAME is the third book in the GhostWalkers series. While this book can be read independent, I think to completely understand the conflicts the characters have, the prior two books are necessary backstory.STAR RATING: I give this one 4.5 stars.

I had started this series, with Spider game, not knowing it was a series. Now I have gone back and got them all. It's a bit pricey but I'm finding well worth it. Great characters to follow with depth.🙂

Loved both characters and how sassy and fun they are! Such an adventurous roller coaster ride this story was. !

I’d give it 5 if I didn’t read so much “I love this about you and I love that.” It’s just too sickening sweet. I’d prefer more story than sap and sex to be honest.

Gator is so sweet, hes very genuine and honest. This book is like the others in the series, love at first sight, inexperienced woman meets handsome, well endowed, over sexed super sized enhanced psychic uber soldier w a constant hard on... there’s lots & lots of sex...1st comes love, then comes ... well, u know ...This book had much more action & Flame really does go for the gusto, shes bold, ballsy, brash & as it turns out, bald! But i liked camaraderie between the #GhostWalkers is great & good for laughs.Did I mention the hot sex? Hold on to your boots...Lots of shoot em ups & death in this one. Careful of the description of the traumatic rape victim if u r PTSD but its only a small section of the book.And Nonny...what can you say about Nonny? I just love me some Cajun Grand-mere! Shes a bad Mother...watch your mouth bef she washes it out w soap!

This is the third book in the Ghost Walkers series and follows the normal predictable lines of the first two. If you expect anything new from this one I think that you will be disappointed. That being said the characters are good, well rounded and likeable. The story of the book ties in well with the overall story of the series. I liked it, it just didn't make me go 'wow'.This story focus' on Gator and Flame. Flame has to overcome some major trust issues while Gator just oozes charm and humour with a core of seriousness that you haven't seen from him in the first two books. Their relationship follows the normal, combustible start, angst middle and a small hope for a happy end.Lovers of the series will like this one, but I feel it could get the same as the 'Dark' series. A little same-ish and boring if the series is read back to back.

Gator is the comedian in the ghostwalkers team. He has a heavy Cajun accent and sexy eyes with curly black hair. His grandmother nonny calls him home to investigate a missing girl.Lily comes to him before he leaves and asks him to look for flame 'iris Jonson' who is looking for dahlia after reports of sanctuary was burned down.Gator meets and instantly they struggle with attraction. Flame thinks he's a crazy Cajun and gator thinks flame's is a sexy knife wheeling red head.Love this story and the big family feel with gator family. Absolutely love Nonny.Lost of fighting and murder. This book has upsetting storyline with abduction, rape and abuse. So if you are upset easily this may not be the book for you.No epilogue which I really like but you can go from one book to next.

Yet another series by Christine Feehan I am loving. This is a different type of novel in so much as not shape shifters or immortals, and although the characters have abilities these have been tuned and hugely increased by a scientist - but there is still the romance.I enjoyed the first two books but this one has shaken the story a little bit and left us wandering and excited for the next!I can’t recommend this enough.

Love the ghost walkers special ops soldiers phsyic gifts strong woman with the same gifts all enhanced by mad scientist who wants to breed the next generation of super soldier while fighting off the bad guys as well

Stubbled onto this series as I had read her cat people books and loved them and this one didn't disappoint either. I would recommend starting from the beginning of the series although this one can stand on its on the other characters and back story are easier to understand if you've read the other books.
