An electret condenser mic, not a dynamic
I mistakenly bought this microphone thinking it to be a dynamic mic--it had the old school CB 4-Pin connector on it. But the element is an electret element. In the photograph I didn't spot that info, but you can read it if the light is good, on the back of the microphone. 1000 ohm high impedance. It would not work on my old mobile rig, which used a dynamic (low impedance) mic. I just returned it, although it's a nice looking mic.

Awesome Replacement! Fit Perfect!
My original mic broke. The wires came apart so the original one would no longer “key” up. I could not talk to anyone. I am very mechanically inclined so I was going to re-sodder the wires. But saw how inexpensive these were and it is an exact match to the original CB radio. Bought it. Arrived in 2 days. Screwed it in and done! Works perfect now. Great handset.

Easy and dependable
The last mic I had lasted for 25 years so I think this one will be good

More than a Uniden mic.
The model I purchased worked right out of the box. I used the Uniden microphone on a “Homebrew” Ham radio designed fortunately with the same plug wiring. I had been concerned that the mic output might not be sufficient for Good modulation of the SSB radio, but that was not at all the case. It worked beyond my expectations.

Compact and reliable
Bought as a replacement for the one that came with my radio. It's much more compact and functions exeptionally

Great replacement mic
Perfect fit for my Uniden CB. Louder than other mics, durable. The last one lasted 15 years, and I expect the same out of this one.
