Cirque du Freak: A Living Nightmare Paperback – June 1, 2002

I've always enjoyed reading this series. It's such a good series and a good take on vampires and definitely different from how some may see vampires, which I definitely don't mind

I love reading this to my micropremie baby, it has a lot of life lessons! Highly recommended but you may want to leave out some of the more graphic parts.

I saw the movie based on this series of books and decided to read one of them. Now I am ordering all of them. Finish one, order another. I know these are for pre teen and early teen kids. Yet here I am, at 62, enjoying them. They are quite hair raising. I would have trouble letting a pre teen read them. I would have had nightmares. Of course, I come from a more innocent (media-wise) era. I like the grammar mistakes in the stories, made by the boy telling the story. His attitude seems perfect for his age and what he is going through. All in all, a story well told. I will read the rest of them.

Just keep reading this is an awesome series I read it in school and well continuing to read it. I can’t imagine what I forgot!

I'm a big fan of these stories and was happy to finally read this one. If you have read any of his work you must read this and more. The imagination involved in writing these stories is fantastic. A skill I wish I had acquired. I've read so many of the comics and trade paperbacks over the years, some several times. I hope I have the chance to read them all. So many books, so little time. Telling this in the first person makes this one even more interesting. Give it a read and try his other works as well. You won't be disappointed.

Although reading was one of my strengths as a kid, I didn’t enjoy it much. This book series changed that. I recently decided to revisit this book after 16ish years and I’m so glad I did.

I read the first book and wanted to complete my collection

One of the series I read in middle school and am excited to reread. It is good. I hope as he grows he realizes how bitter his friend is.
