Great!!
Love this raft!! No more air rafts that leak. It holds you up out of the water. I like that it has a neck roll which is comfortable. I was worried when I read the reviews about the smell but it’s not bad. I barely could smell it the first two uses, but since, I don’t smell anything. Will not go back to air rafts that don’t last. But this, you won’t regret it.

Great Quality!! Thick and Comfortable!
Bought 2 of these. One of the best quality pool loungers for my pool I have ever purchased. I am very impressed with the quality. A little pricy but definitely worth it. These are so well made I am sure they will last years if taken care of! So happy we purchased them!

Top Notch Customer Service Saves The Day!
☆☆☆ Update ☆☆☆ My original review for this purchase was titled "Garbage Quality". & the floats I received really were junk. But I contacted their customer service & it was very possibly the best customer service I've ever had! The woman I spoke to could not have been nicer. She didn't make excuses or try to deny that what I received was crap quality. She said that they take pride in their quality & she wasn't sure how I ended up with what I received. She immediately said that the floats would be replaced. That unfortunately the specific type I ordered were on back order. Before I could say a word of complaint, she said she didn't want me to have to wait & that she was upgrading my floats to a more luxury & more expensive type, but that there would be no additional charge to me. I received the new floats within 3 days & they are perfection! She even included some touch up coating, for in case I were to get a puncture or anything. Seriously STELLAR customer service. I HIGHLY recommend this brand again, as I have for years. ☆☆☆ Original Review ☆☆☆ I've been a pool owner for 30 years. So I've gone through my share of closed cell foam pool floats. My first pair of floats in this brand were incredible. They were top of the line. Very comfortable & most importantly, durable. They lasted about 5 years. We had tried other brands, but the coating quality & thickness is what determines how long these things last. We learned quickly that as soon as the coating is punctured, cracked, or the coating seal is broken through in whatever way... it's a quick downhill ride to Garbage Town for the float. Seriously, once the coating is breached, the coating starts flaking & peeling like crazy, which makes the float VERY uncomfortable against your skin. Makes the float look like crap. & mold & grunge set in on the exposed foam. So the absolute KEY to closed cell foam floats... is the quality & thickness of the COATING. Texas Recreation used to be king of the hill because they had ample quantity/thickness of the coating. Maybe they double dipped lol, I don't know. But it used to be nice & thick full coverage. The two I recently purchased, arrived with such thin coating that the foam was already exposed along every edge except the bottom. Flaking had already started. Coating missed some areas completely. It was the same situation with both of the two I purchased. Coincidentally I had also ordered 2 closed cell foam floats from Sam's Club (their Members Mark brand) for my grandkids to use (because they were $80 & my grands are rough on pool floats. I didn’t want to let them use the new TR $150 floats). The quality of the coating on them was sub-par, but still BETTER than the TR, & they were only $80. I don't know if TR quality went to crap or if quality control was just sleeping on the job. I'm going to reach out to them & see how they handle this. If they offer to replace, & the replacements are the old TR high quality, then I'll change my review. But for now... buyer beware! They are a bulky pain in the butt to return! PS... regarding the reviews complaining of the initial smell... that's normal for ALL closed cell foam products. They reek of chemicals for a few weeks & then they're fine. Wash them down with soap, water & a soft rag, then leave them outside for a few days. The smell eventually wears off.

Holding up well so far
This pool float is only 1.5 inches thick, so it flexes down to take on some water when an adult is laying on it. That's not a drawback at all to me however as a bit of water lapping around my sides and legs feels awfully good when the sun is beating down on me and it allows me to lounge a bit longer before rolling off for a swim. It's made of foam covered by a waterproof coating that's holding up well so far to the HOT South Texas sun, and it managing to survive a couple of rowdy boys who jump on it, roll it partially over themselves as a shield during splash fights and otherwise abuse it. This is our first summer owning it, but I'm impressed that it's handled everything so far without cracking, ripping, or showing any signs of wear. We have about another full month until it'll be time to stick it in the pool house till next year, so fingers crossed. I have high hopes for it though since it seems to be doing fine. If you buy this just be aware that it's thin and very flexible. It won't keep you above the water line, but it does float well and manages to handle being jumped on, rolled up, slapped down onto the water, and other things it was never meant to have to suffer through. If you like to lay on your tummy to tan though you'll probably want to do what I do and lay with your face on the flat side and let your feet rest on the head support since it's not comfortable to lay on face down. I'll come back and update this review if my boys manage to destroy the float before the end of next month.... (they'd better not)!

The only float I will buy for my dogs
Edit August 2025 I ordered again and received a thin cheaper one. I'm not happy. I would very much appreciate a repair kit to be sold on Amazon to patch the holes from my dogs nails. There's a number on the paperwork I got where I can call, but these days I don't trust calling numbers I don't know. That being said, I love this float. I've been purchasing the thinner ones for 4 years, since I adopted these most recent dogs of mine. And I like this one better. They are left out in or by the pool all year. They do crack everywhere and I have found I need to replace them after a year. I imagine if you take better care of yours, you won't have that problem. I'm wondering if this thicker one will hold up better. Idk yet. But I do know that it's worth the extra cost to get the thicker one. It holds my dogs better when they're standing on the float. Mine are 55lbs & 65lbs or he might be 75lbs now (I'm not sure). It's easier for them to step onto the float too. Actually I even like this color blue better than the thinner ones I've been buying. I will never get a blow up float again. They are easier to store but don't hold up. If you have a place to store the float, like a garage, that would be better. Regardless, I highly recommend this and will continue to purchase them. I included a couple pictures with my dogs so you can see how perfect these floats are. With the thinner float, my standing dogs legs are halfway under water, so get this float not the thinner one. If I remember, I'll update this after having it a year.

I am so disappointed. This float is so comfortable but after a months use, the outer lining is tearing everywhere. It’s only been used by adults, so no rough play on it but children, just lounging. Got the cost of this float, I’d expect at least three seasons
