Works well to eliminate house dust on filters

Maybe 30 years ago a friend “Butch” who was a local HVAC tech told me about a filter coat that your sprayed on furnace filters to catch additional dust. I used it for years then I could no longer find it. I found PuraClean and decided to try it. It is the same basic product that I had been using. It will catch twice as much dust than filters without it. Butch said his customers commented on their houses not being as dusty as they had been before he started using the spray.

It was used on furnace filter. The filter that it was used on is dirtier than a filter without the spray. I thought it expensive for the performance increase.

Like many others I didnt get the spray nozzle. If you are going to order this you might at well order a spray bottle

After a month or so with this I am still mixed on its effectiveness. I live in a very dusty environment. I have 3 h13 hepa filters that have to be replaced monthly. They are supposed to be 3-6 months. Anyway I used this spray on my dehumidifier which runs 24/7 and my living room ac/which also runs 24/7. After a month I can't really say that the filters were full of more dust. But normally I vaccume the filters then wash them with degreaser. The vaccume canister usually has a huge amount of dust in it and the filter is not normally very dirty when sprayed with degreaser. Well this time was the opposite. There was very little clumps of dust in the vaccume but the filters were extremely dirty when I rinsed them. So what does that mean? I'm not too sure. Is it just taking the dust and wetting it down so I can't see it or is a lot of that dust getting through? So I think I need another few months to decide. I didn't put it on my account in the bedroom. That one has an extra electrostatic filter in it that works wonderfully and I am afraid to mess with that.. I will add more after 3 months that should be enough time to really see the effects.

i did get the sprayer… some did not, though, at first i did not see it in the package, but i looked inside shipping bag before tossing it, and there it was! The stuff works well. A bit pricey.
