Is there any gluten (wheat, barley, rye) in this from the yeast nutrients?

Can i make wine with this? i want to use it directly in a 100% juice with sugar solution. will it still work? or do i need to make it with water only?

There are a lot of impurities produced with this yeast. While you technically could make wine with it you are are going to have to do a lot of degassing to drive off the sulphur that is produced.

What's the recipe to make a 1 gallon batch?

How long could I expect a package to last if stored in a cool dry place in the original package? Would vacuum sealing harm or help long term storage?

Mine is still alive and active going on 6 months. I keep mine in the refrig also. Vacuum sealing is, I believe , not necessary. Expect to last over 1 year if keep in refrig.
