How To Preserve Pressure
Used correctly, this works great. And...it is simple to use!

Excellent product! Useful for 4.0 and below. Might even have some value for 4.5 players.
It really works! I use it all the time with great result. One time, I opened a can of new balls and they were flat. I put them in Gexco Tennis Ball Saver for a day and it was re-pressurized and had the proper bounce. I can usually get 5 hours of tennis over 3 days out of one can of balls by using this thing, before the rubber of the ball gets too soft from repeated deformation on impact that they can't hold pressure. What happens then is it has the right bounce, but comes off the racquet noticeably slower than newer balls, because the old ball easily pancakes on the racquet and doesn't pop off. I play 2 hours a session and can basically use the same can of balls for 3 sessions plus warm up for the 4th session before opening a new can. If you are a high level player (4.5+) then you may be wearing out the rubber on the ball in one session anyway that this won't help you, but for ~$15 you can give it a try and see how it goes. Maybe save them for warmup during the next session? Another thing of note is I like the build quality. The dimension inside holding the balls is snug, so there is less empty space, which also means more efficient in pressurizing the container when the top screws down. When balls are pretty new and have all the fuzz on it, sometimes the bottom ball is reluctant to get out. Nothing some tapping won't solve though. I had a Gamma one before and I don't remember the tolerances being this tight. The whole thing is heavy plastic so it feels like pretty good quality and should last. I really can't believe it took me this long to get it. Now I can use premium tennis balls and get at least 2 full sessions out of them. I'm a 4.0 player who hits very hard with heavy topspin but I usually play with my wife who's a 3.0 to 3.5 so I don't smash the ball all the time, but we still rally at pretty good pace. Also, I have no qualms about playing one session and then take a break for a few days before playing again. Before I got this gadget I'd have to open another can of balls. Now I know I can use the same balls again. That's a great feeling haha

Mostly effective, worth the money
This is a good box for tennis balls, which appears to delay their deterioration (by preserving air pressure). But I doubt it can stop the pressure loss completely or even restore tennis balls. First, elementary physics suggests that it's hard to re-inflate tennis balls by just putting them in an environment with higher pressure (if you think otherwise, imagine how realistic it would be to inflate tires by putting a car in a higher-pressure environment). Secondly, the box loses its pressure pretty quickly, as it's not completely air-tight. You can feel it by opening it after a few days, and feeling that it takes effort (which means pressure inside is lower than it was when the box was closed). Nevertheless, it's far better than tossing the tennis balls into a bag or keeping them in unsealed cans. Since I started using this tennis ball saver, my Wilson US Open tennis balls lose all their printed labels before losing pressure to the point I'd throw them away.

Works like a charm
My tennis pals don't believe me when I pull three balls that are 3 months old and play like new. This thing simply works and reduces waste.

It'll last forever, but I can't open and close it!
I have owned this Tennis Ball Saver for two years and have tried over and over again to get it to work for me. The two parts fit together so tightly that I literally cannot open and close them to actually achieve any pressurization or remove the balls to determine if, in fact, they have held their pressure. Every three or four months I think, "I'm going to try this again." One time I put Vasoline on the threads; I've also tried WD40. Nothing I do loosens the hold sufficiently for me to get to the balls I've put in or to close the device fully. If my husband and I each use both hands on one of the pieces, we can with mighty muscle get it to unscrew, but generally, I'd say, if you don't have very strong hand and lower arm muscles, skip it. I wanted it to work, but I've finally given up. If someone reading this has advice for me about how to make it work, I'd be most appreciative.

A little disappointing.
Gave this to our captain and after reading it, yes it does work but the balls have to stay in the cylinder for weeks to pressurize. Not very convenient.

Cost Saver and extra mileage on Tennis Balls
Amazing utility. Saves your ball to play 5-8 more games. Wilson US Open Extra Duty goes well with this and extends the life time of the ball
