***UPDATE****AMAZON WAS NOT HELPFUL IN THE END W/MY ISSUE BUT OSMO WAS GREAT. THEY ENDED UP MAKING THINGS RIGHT AND GETTING AMAZON TO CHANGE THEIR DISHONEST POLICY. THANK YOU OSMO!I purchased 3 of these as gifts along with 3 games and can't get any of the 3 to function properly w/the app. Since they are clearly defective I tried to return them only to find out after purchasing that everything Osmo related is FINAL SALE and Amazon doesnt care one bit if items are defective. Yet nowhere before purchasing did it indicate that Osmo items (games and systems) were not returnable. This is not even legal... I never would have purchased anything as a gift that I couldnt return should something be wrong with it but I was scammed into doing it because Amazon and/or Osmo was dishonest about the items being final sale. Do yourself a favor and if you really want an Osmo system buy it from somewhere other than Amazon so if there is an issue with it you arent out several 100's of dollars like I am...

It hooks children in because they see familiar characters that are already drawn and animated, which they then get to re-draw, re-shape, re-color and see animated before their eyes. You will require either headphones or a quiet space for your child as they use this, as the app it not only full of music and sound effects, but dependent on the sound to give instructions. This is a physically well-made product and a fantastic smooth-running app. It is easy to set up and provides creative and interactive screen time. It is a good introduction into animation and CGI and providing you can talk to you children about it, a good demonstration of the input/ storage/ manipulation/ output of data.

Was very excited to order these as Christmas gifts for 3 young grandchildren. The description did NOT make it at all clear that another, separately purchased product was needed in order to use. Fail for me. Fail for company. I would happily have purchased additional stand had I known. Maybe if the kids could use them they’d get 5 stars for value or gift-ability. Now they’re just gathering dust.

We love Osmo. I only gave it 4 stars as the erasers that come with this sheets don't do much for it and we use only the yoobi dry erase markers that come with the set. We have all of the Art Osmo Creative Starter kits. My son likes the Creative Design kit but really hasn't shown any interests in the Super Studio Learn to Draw sets who is 7 but he doesn't like to draw or color. I bought these for my 5 yo daughter who is my artist. She draws and colors daily so these are her favorite Osmo games. I highly recommend them for those little artists out there. Note, the microfiber cloth is not really good at cleaning up the dry erase markers but I found a good solution for this. We use a Clorox Wipe to clean it and get it wet and then we run a Magic Eraser and the pads are completely clean and look like new. We have all of the Studio Design pads and this seems to clean all of them. Hope this helps.

My kids LOVE Osmo and The Incredibles in this House, so it was a no brainer that we needed this. It’s entertaining and the kids are building up confidence with their drawing skills because of it.You DO need the Osmo base, so if you don’t have one, don’t get mad because you didn’t read the description and can’t play it. And you should get the genius kit (which comes with a base) anyway, it’s AWESOME!

Our son loves the Incredibles but isn’t a big fan of drawing, coloring, play doh etc. This drawing kit for the Osmo has sparked a new interest as he draws the scenes and sees his art come to life. We will buy more kits like this. Easy to use, just install the game app on the iPad and let him draw.

My child tired of it after an hour and never did it again. Not enough activities. At least I got it on an excellent sale!

I personally think that it is a really cool game. My children, however, are not as artistically inclined and don’t LOVE it. The concept is neat, draw on pad and it shows up on screen. They are just more mathematical than artistic.

Excellent product. Osmo is very educational and this one gives a fun twist.

Good but American accent really annoys me how they can’t make it British English. Even paw patrol has a British English version.
