The product was well worth the cost, lower than most and well made. Just ideal for the job and easy to fill. We filled them with water and were easily handled because of the built in hand grip: a sturdy feature that enabled easy movement when filled.The area they occupy is quite large but we found that this was an ideal platform for plants, solar lights or ornaments so it didn't just end up as a dead space.Highly recommended and delivered almost a week before the actual anticipated delivery date.

They are heavy duty plastic containers that can be filled with sand.I dried some sand in the sun on a mixing board to make it easier, but it was not hard with the aid of a funnel. Once filled net weight was 19kg based on sharp sand (I could probably have got as little more in, I think sand is better than water as no leakage or freezing risk).On my parasol the height of the base was a slight issue but spacers are provided to raise the parasol above the cross pieces so the lever that allows the parasol to be rotated can be operated without fouling these weights. The only downside here is that I had to order longer cap bolts for the parasol (in my case 4 off M8x30mm), but this is an issue of non standardised bases on parasols. I was going to have a similar problem if I had used paving slabs, my parasol would only have worked with 35mm slabs which are a bit non standardThe weights have moulded in recess to aid carrying on the outer edge, so I can move the parasol around if required and store it for the winter, which is ideal. 19kg is what you might have in your suitcase for a holiday.Happy

These weights have successfully held up our 3m cantilevered parasol both when it was open on a breezy day and when it was folded, in very windy weather. No assembly is required beyond filling them with water, and they represent excellent value compared with the price of similar products in chain stores.

This arrived in a matter of days and was exactly as described. These weights are expensive from all suppliers so this was the best deal I could find and it did exactly what it should. Easy to fill, position and lock into place.It has been quite gusty today and, previously, the cantilever parasol would blow over at the slightest puff of air but it was stood firm with these weights. I'm very pleased with the product.Very pleased. Just wish they were cheaper!

It’s a bit fiddly filling each with sand and, obviously, then heavy to move but keeps the parasol well and truly sturdy.

This product is not what I expected, I wanted a stone base. In the heading description it say this is 66kg but it is not. This is a base that you have to add water and sand to, which is clear unless you read the full description. So the heading is deceiving. Will do the job but once instructions followed but not what I wanted so very disappointed. The cost of returning is costly as not part of Amazon prime, so stuck with this product.

This product was easy to fill with water, held my umbrella securely even on a windy day. Much cheaper than other weighted parasol stands. Would definitely recommend.
