Superb Build Quality
I already had a poorly made aluminium CNC machined tamper before buying this and am so glad I made the decision to buy it . It’s superbly made and really heavy and mirror finished . The 51mm head is smooth and glides into both my Breville and Tecnora portafilters. Amazing value for under Rs 700 and an absolutely justified upgrade from poor made tampers of metal or plastic that many machine makers supply with their kit . Get it . It’s really great if you have a 51 or 52mm portafilter on your espresso machine.

Improves coffee making experience...
Like Alton Brown says, throw away the plastic tamper (did not know what it was called till then) that came with the machine. This one is nice, heavy and covers the entire 51 mm dia of the filter. This actually improved the whole coffee making experience. It looks like my coffee filter is conical, and this tamper is not able to press coffee all the way through (not the tamper's fault). But it's all fine if you fill-it to maximum capacity.
