I've used Two Cherries brand tools for 40-years. The quality never disappoints. Edges come sharp, no tool marks, the handles feel right in your hand and the tools are a joy to behold. The feeling of awe and reverence I felt when I opened this set was the same as I felt when I opened my first set of Two Cherries carving tools when I was a teenager 40-years ago.

These were incredibly sharp right out of the box. I have already put them to use on numerous projects and am much happier than with my old set - from a different manufacturer. Worth every penny.

I have fallen in love with this carving set! The blades are razor sharp, and made from high quality steel. The handles are very sturdy, I bet they will last for years, and they come in a nice wooden carry case. I would recommend these with no hesitation, and as a gift I would be STOKED!!!

I got this set for my brothers wedding party gift because he is into making furniture but not into wood carving, yet. It looks like everything I expected except the V notch has a small knick right at the bottom of the V. I hope this can be filed out without damage to the tool. And if it can't I hope it isn't too noticable when a sharp point is desired.

The absolute best carving set I have ever had. The shipment from Germany was very fast. Ordered on the 6th received on the 15th, keeping in mind that they had to go thu customs. They are extremely sharp. Will order replacements if these ever wear out, which I doubt. Thanks for a very good product.

Had a set of these chisels that I’ve been using for 30 years and today instead of sharpening them I broke out the new chisels I purchased here on Amazon. After 15 minutes of use in pine, the tip deformed.Amazon was not the least bit helpful and customer service kept repeating. I missed the return deadline. I’m not sure why this happened but it’s clearly a manufacturing defect that Amazon won’t stand behind.I am frustrated beyond belief with Amazon and the entire situation, which I gave them every chance to correct this morning. If you’re planning on buying anything from Amazon, you better try and use it before the return deadline passes because they will not help after that deadline.Update - manufacturer was helpful and is sending a new chisel

I haven't used them all yet but have used most of them. At least three of the smaller tips broke and had to be reground before I could use them again. I thought the steel would be better quality than Chinese made tools but I was sadly mistaken.

These work great, I just messed around for about 6 hours carving a horse into some basswood. It was extremely therapeutic and the tools work amazing. I still need to commission them into what I want, but they work well!
