This is an excellent book written by Marcia Jeans. She has been an inspiration to me for many years, unknowingly helping me with her SMART Board video tutorials online!! I was so happy that she is now an author that I ordered this book immediately!! Our school has SMART Boards in every classroom. I was chosen to help train teachers. If it hadn't been for Marcia and her online tutorials back then, I don't know what I would have done. This book will help you tremendously and it's nice having the DVD tutorials right at your fingertips. Thank you for writing this book and enclosing the DVD. Great job Marcia!

I am looking forward to using this book during the coming school year for lesson planning and Whiteboard usage. I ordered it too late for the current school year...my bad...but it does come with a disc!

I bought this product as a brand new teacher, I was thrown into a classroom with a Smartboard and knew that there were a large number of things I could do with it. As a high school teacher, this product was lacking. Well, even as an everyday teacher, I found the product did not help guide me in how to use the product outright, but took an intermediate approach in what it assumed I know. I would love to have something that gave me more insight into the clicker system or the Smart board software itself, which this did not do for me.

This a great reference book to have after you have had some SMART training. It allows you to quickly look up how to do many topics. It will remind you of how to do things like cover cells in a table. You could also use it to learn the basics of the SMART board. Warning: This book uses Notebook Software version 10, so version 11 tools are not mentioned.

I purchased this book in order to help me fine tune my Smart Board lessons. I have had a Smart board in my classroom for over 2 years now and I am pretty familiar with it. This book brought it all together. The best lesson is on inserting a You Tube video or website into you lesson. It's worth its weight in gold!

I was excited about receiving this shippment. Boy, was I dissappointed. The product advertises a DVD with the book. This DVD is critical to being able to use the book because it refers to information on the DVD as you read. THERE WAS NO DVD. It was advertised as a new book. I wrote a notice to the seller and received no answer as to why there was no DVD. Do not bother ordering this book without the DVD, because it is useless without it.

Like others have said, if you have any experience with the Smart Board don't waste your money. 99% of the book is tutorial. It includes a whopping TWO lessons. I received the CD, but I was disappointed! It is certainly not "powerful" lessons that "motivate all students."

Good textbook.

I bought this book to help me to use SMARTBOARD as a college FE lecturer. I feel the book is a little misleading because despite its colourful cover the inside of the book is written completely in black and white. Not one picture or screen shot is printed in colour inside.I think this book would be much improved if the inside of the book was as exciting as the cover... when everything is grey it makes it hard to read.

Excellent and good value for money. Was able to use this product with my learners for assessment. Guide on how to uise the product was easy and understandable. Would recommend this to anyone in the teaching sector!
