Great newborn support
Great support for our newborn. He looked lost in his car seat and his head slumped forward which really scared me. The main cushion definitely supports his head and there's a separate wee pillow that holds his back higher so he's laying much flatter.The only downside is that he gets really sweaty in it as it's been really warm.*UPDATE* We used this for 5 months before he was too big for it. He was 8lb 10oz at birth and stayed big for his age, for reference. I couldn't recommend it enough, we've kept it for our next wee one.

Soft and safe
Well padded and secure for smaller babiesMy DD however hated this think it constricted her a little too much as she used to cry going into the car seat everytime! Thankfully shes alot bigger than her birthweight and we have no need for it anymore!But it served its purpose and was very soft2years later - my son used this as again was born small and now its been passed to my niece who was only 4lb
