Easier to install, didn't realized I'd be lifting weights!
I watched a couple youtube videos on installing this hitch on a Honda Odyssey (mines a 2010). One said to unhook the exhaust at the two hanger positions. The other video unhooked only one position, and then stated that it may not have even been needed. So being the lazy guy I am, thought I'd tried installing it without unhooking the exhaust. I did use a floor jack to act as a third arm and that helped. I started by sliding the right side of the hitch in place sliding between the exhaust and bottom of the vehicle. Slid in just fine, then I just let it rest on the exhaust pipe (probably not the smartest thing, but I'm lazy). From there I got one bolt in on the left side, and then started working the right side. The only thing about not removing the exhaust was that it kind of got in the way, but I was able to work around it. This is because the pipe shifts a little because it is hanging on giant rubber loops. So I just kinda pushed the pipe to the side to get my wrench in there. Was able to get all bolts lightly tightened and then got out my torque wrench. It was at this point I didn't realize I was going to be doing a full workout. Torquing six bolts to 68 ft lbs each felt like lift weights, allot of them, again and again. It was good and not to sore today. Also of note, I did order a 12mm - 1.25 tap as suggested by others. For the most part not necessary for me, even though the van is 10 years old. I do think it became useful for one of the wholes as the bolt would not catch the threads. I used the tap lightly, only making a few turns, then tried the bolt again and was able to get it.Lastly, as a few others have mentioned, the upper most right hitch bolt hole did not line up perfectly. However there is a little bit of flex with the hitch and I was able to by hand flex the hitch wider by about 1/2 centimeter, which was enough to get that bolt in.Overall was quite pleased as how easy this was to install. Planning on using this hitch to attached a bike mount for 6 bikes. Getting the family out of the house!

The hitch is fine ... but read on for IMPORTANT info!
Okay, this is a tough review!!! I actually think the HITCH itself is just fine and dandy! However, here i my FULL experience, and some things for y’all looking for a hitch to take into consideration.*I was initially sent the wrong hitch. It came packed in a box the size of a 100-gal hot water heater (TOTALLY SERIOUS HERE) ... an so the box was almost powder by the time it arrived ... hilarious (and stupid) packaging! It took over an hour of cussing and grumble in and working my keister off to finally realize it was the WRONG hitch!!! (And it was bent, and had been returned previously). UGG!!*It took me over an hour to figure out how to PROPERLY pack this POS up to return it.*The replacement arrived, it was ALSO shipped in what remained of a box big enough to accommodate six of these hitches ... and as a result it was slightly bent ... which meant ...*It took me a whole day to get it straightened out enough to get it bolted on my van. UGG!So there. Now it’s on and doing fine. But seriously, the seller has got to do something about shipping WRONG hitches, and needs to totally re-think their packaging. As for the hitch itself. I bet it’s just as good as any other brand, and looks fine once installed. If ya order one, just be sure to add a little note BEGGING the seller to pack properly and ensure they sent the correct hitch, as this ended up wasting the better part of an entire WEEK for me. body want’s that.

Works great and you can't beat the price! Follow my tips for easy install!
I personally don't care that this didn't come in a nice box all padded up. The looks are not going to hold up anyway, it is under the vehicle and will be hit by stones and other debris every time you drive it. The packet of bolts and instructions was securely wrapped to the bar so I was not missing anything.I used ramps and backed the van up onto them, made it very easy to get access to the bolt holes. You WILL need a way to clear the bolt holes on the frame of the van unless your van is less than a week old. Trust me, get a 12 x 1.25 tap at minimum. If you have an auto parts store near you that will loan tools, get a thread repair kit as well. This gives you a similar thing as a tap, except it has a socket head so you can use a socket wrench on it. I started each hole with the tap, then used the thread repair kit to finish the job. Still took a lot of effort to clear the holes but this is of course not a problem with the product itself. Once you clear the holes, installation is a breeze. I used an upside down bucket to hold one end up while I got one bolt started on the other end. I did end up dropping the exhaust but that took 10 seconds. Overall, I am very happy that I was able to install this for under $150 and my wife swears the van drives better (maybe it acts as a stabilizer bar for the back end?).

Proper prior preparation . . .
We got our Odyssey without a roof rack, thinking we could use a hanging bike rack the way we did on our old Sienna. The spoiler makes that impossible so we bought this in order to have a hitch-mounted bike rack. The hitch is seriously rock solid and now we can carry whatever we want to back there.Take your time before trying to attach the hitch. Only one welded nut on our car was clean enough to get the bolt in easily. The others took 10 to 20 minutes EACH. Spray the threads with WD-40; get the bolt threaded in carefully. You'll be in trouble if the threads start stripping. Don't ask me how I know this. Use a socket wrench or long crescent wrench and tighten the bolt as much as you can. Then tighten loosen tighten loosen tighten loosen about a quarter turn about ten times. Then go another half turn tighter and repeat. Do this maybe ten times and then remove the bolt and spray the hole out again and clean the bolt off. Repeat this with all the holes until you can get them in almost all the way.I managed to get the hitch on by myself after detaching the muffler from the last hanger. I slid the plate over the exhaust and into position on that side and then propped it up on towel-covered bricks. Then put it up on the other side and got a bolt in without the other hardware. Then put two more bolts in that side and then the three bolts in on the other side. The rest you can figure out, but that's how I did it.Like I said, the thing is rock solid.

Not what I expected but it turned out well
Product came with paint chips and some poorly touched up areas. After some discussion with the sender, we agreed upon a settlement and it’s now installed on my van. Good customer service. After buying a can of spray paint for this type of application I’m hoping the rust takes a long while to start showing. It always seems it’s only a matter of time for all hitches to rust. Install was as expected. There was a YouTube video that helped to explain the steps.

value of money Best product as compare in market.
It was easy to install but make sure you have proper tools I gave 4 star for value for money because seller didn’t send all the bolts so I have to look around which wasted my 4 hours of time and cost me only 12 dollars. Seller please add 12 dollars more with ur product and send all parts my 4 hours worth more than $12.Rest everything was awesome I put my bike rack on with 4 bikes made a 4 hour small road trip it worked perfectly fine happy with my purchase. Highly Recommending

Great bar, installation can be challenging
The tow bar itself is perfect. However do not be deceived by instructions that indicate this is a simple 15 minute installation. You will need room to get under your vehicle. In the case of my Honda Odyssey van it meant permanently removing a rear panel from the underside. The most challenging portion is getting the bolts into the frame. Unless your vehicle is brand new, the reality is that the existing nuts on the underside of your vehicle will be full of dirt, rocks and rust. You will need a small round wire brush, a bottle of wd40 and a lot of patience to chase these bolts into the underside of the vehicle.Getting the vehicle prepped for this installation took close to two hours.

Nettoyer filet avant !
Super produit mais pour l'installation il faut prévoir passer un tap dans les filets sinon la boulonnerie ne rentre pas.
