Luomorgo 110mm/4.33 inch Hole Saw, 1.46 inch Cutting Depth HSS Bi-Metal Hole Cutter for Wood Cornhole Boards Plastic Drywall & Metal Sheet

I bought this hole saw to drill holes in a plastic storage tote so I could set up a Kratky-method hydroponic reservoir, and it worked exactly as I hoped. I used it with a Bauer power drill, and it cut clean, round holes through the tote with no cracking or tearing of the plastic. The cut edges came out surprisingly neat for plastic. I did a quick pass with sandpaper afterward, just to smooth them out further, but the hole saw itself did most of the work. The tool feels solid and well-made, and it stayed stable while cutting, with no grabbing or excessive vibration. For a DIY setup like this, accuracy really matters to get the net cups to fit properly, and this delivered consistent results across multiple holes. If you’re doing any kind of project involving plastic containers (hydroponics, cable pass-throughs, storage mods, or general shop work), I feel this is a great hole saw to have on hand. I’m very happy with the purchase and I have a few other sizes that I'm planning to get, and I'll probably go with this same company.

I needed to drill out a 'stop' at the end of a 50mm* hole in two aluminum blocks, about 1/4'' of material needed to be removed, then the project 'should' have worked and it did, it worked perfectly. I used cutting oil to keep the saw lubed as it was buried in the existing hole about 3/4 of the length of the saw, so there would be heat on top of needing to use a some manor of lube period. This saw is not made to be used 'on' alum , I don't believe, but this was a one time only project so I was willing to ruin the saw and take a chance , the saw still seems to be in great shape. - Saw is precision enough for sure, for what I was doing, and it spun true, which was a nice surprise. -Comes with really nice 1/4'' centering bits, and a hex key for snugging them up. - The centering bit with spring has spring permanently attached, and is already in the saw in the package, we can use that bit, or the other two that are supplied. - A hex key / allen key is included for snugging up the centering bits. *50mm, this is what I needed, sae in this case would not have worked, slightly over or slightly under would have been a fail for the project, I bought this saw due to the 'friendly' price, and the fact that it was stamped 50mm, and in in fact true. -Comes in a thin plastic case, so I put all parts back into it when done. -Delivered in time for the project, this is what I love about amazon, I need to know when I'm going to get my orders, not when they will ship lol, they do that very well, at least 95% of the time, which is an excellent record. I'm putting in some really cool 3" LED bedroom ceiling dimmable lighting. I had the right size hole saw, but I was shocked on how loose the can was in the ceiling (Well, on my practice test drywall sheet). Especially when all you hear is keep the air out, keep it sealed for AC/Heat energy concerns. So I got this size, a 77mm or 3.03" hole saw, it was a better snug fit, no slope, no air leaks for this application. It worked great. I always start drilling forward to get past the pilot hole and to make a clean cut for the circle, then I switch my drill to reverse to punch through, that makes it nice and smooth operating, with no wrist snaps or binding jerks. I did not use the included arbor. I use a high-quality arbor, one that engages two of the four mini little holes that are standard on many hole saws. Because I use hole saws in reverse, it is a safety concern.

For the price this is a really good hole saw. It has cut a dozen holes in 3/4" plywood and three in 1/8" steel and it's still sharp. Most of the cheap carbide toothed ones will be toast after a single hole in steel

I ordered Luomorgo 3-1/8 inch drill saw. The aligning drill bit arrived broken but luckily it inlude two more bits, so no foul. Was not a very challanging task just cutting holes in plastic. Worked out fine. And for the price cannot complain.

Ok, the hole saw did its job. The issue I have with it is that it's a one-time-use product. Removing the piece of wood you drill out from the drill bit is impossible. I have additional holes I need to drill but I can't because my Luomorgo 75mm/3 inch Hole Saw has a piece of 1.5" wood in it. I've been trying to get it out for weeks. Nothing works. Am I crazy?

Nothing wrong with this hole saw, instead the issue is with the worthless arbor. This arbor is like getting 1/2 of the arbor that's required for a larger-sized hole-saw. The top half of the assembly is missing. That's the part that has pins that engage holes in the hole saw. So, why is that important? Well, I used this ONCE to try and install some wafer LED lights. When I cut the hole it was fine, but as soon as I took my finger off the trigger on the drill the hole saw began to spin on the arbor. Mind you, it was tight when I put it on. It's simply the centrifugal force that frees it, and makes it incredibly dangerous. I'm passing this on because I believe this setup could be dangerous. If you have the correct arbor, this hole saw is fine. The way it is as they sell it, it's useless.

didn't fit the desk powerbar it was recommended for. This was a product recommendation for a desk power bar. It didn't fit as recommended. Seller has now been holding my money for 3 months and won't return it despite the item not working for the product it was recommended for. zero stars if i could give it.
