Carlisle Economy Aluminum Boat Oar - 2 Piece

I agree with many of the other reviewers. From the description we thought there were a pair of oars not one in 2 pieces. My bad for not reading the reviews & questions before ordering. We are ordering another one, but it just delays everything. Please change the description/details.

Oar is fine, but description is a bit misleading, was expecting 2 oars. Not one in 2 pieces. So I had to order another one, hopefully when I finally get to test them in the water we'll be happy with them.

I haven't actually been able to use these yet due to other issues. They do seem very sturdy though and break down into 2 PIECES. So I guess that is what they are referring to.I have a 15' flat bottom Jon boat that I was concerned with how these were going to fit. They seem to fit well.So far, no complaints. I will update after I am able to actually use them.

Just FYI, the "2-piece" title of this product does not refer to the number of oars. The oar is assembled and doesn't appear to break down into any obvious "2-pieces" either so it seems a stretch to even claim that.However, the oar itself is of nice quality and we are currently debating hassle of return vs. ease of ordering another. The entire reason for the poor review is due to the poor copy.

Cudos to J. Hall! I also thought there were two oars. The item heading is poorly worded. It is a nice oar though. After receiving one oar I ordered a pair of flimsy oars which I am going to return, they are sure to bend or break. I'm going to order another one of this oar. Live and learn, and let the buyer beware!

Two pieces is a little confusing in the description. I would not have bought it at this price if I thought there was only one.

Just what I ordered. Arrived promptly altho the oars were assembled. If they had been shipped broken down one would think there would be less chance for damage. Overall--> just what I wanted.

I assumed this was two oars based on the title. It's one oar. In one piece. No idea where they get the two piece description from, but it's misleading and borderline fraud.
