Ground Anchor with screw - Set 4 The Wickey ground anchor is particularly suitable for (sloping) ladders and climbing walls thanks to its easy installation. Drive the anchor into the ground and then screw it directly to the post with the wooden screw that comes with it. The ground anchors are suitable for both round and square posts. To ensure a safe and stable footing of the playground equipment, we recommend concreting the posts with our ground anchors "Safety" and angle anchors, whereas the ground anchors should only be used for ladders and climbing walls. Hot-dip galvanised ground anchor Dimension L50 cm, cutting disc Ø10 cm Including a hexagonal wood screw, diameter Ø10x70 mm, and a washer Product weight 0.8 kg Ideal for ladders and climbing walls Quality and safety tested All measurements shown are approximate

Strong, use a garden fork or screwdriver as a lever to screw into the ground.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Very strong! Using this to keep a double swing wooden frame secured onto our lawn. A few tips:They are long! Really consider if you have anything too hard under your lawn that it may not screw through. It comes with its own screws that fit easily into the pre drilled holes on our wooden frame, we had to use a hack saw to saw off the points as they were longer than the wooden frames legs but that was fine. They are very difficult to screw into the ground but we found a nice solution, we put a prong of a garden fork into the hole and used the fork as a lever to turn it, worked really well, we also found using a strong and long screwdriver the same way worked well but needed more power, you will need to be fairly strong to do this.Another little trick was to put the hole a little lower than the hole on the leg and really pull the leg down when putting the screw in so it was firmly held against the ground. As you can see in my video there is still some movement but it's minimal and they are never coming out!

Ok product
Good idea but difficult to screw in to the ground especially if you hit the odd stone and get in the exact place for the legs on the swing.

Will not make the frame sturdy, just stop it from moving
A must have if you have a wickey climbing frame. These anchors stop the climbing frame from moving, they won’t stop it from wobbling.
