Very efficient lamps
Tested twice as cool as other 8 bulb T5's. It is worth it even though the price is about 2X other t5 systems. Don;t waste your time and money on the cheapo ones.See efficiency data here: [...]The run about twice a s cool as a standard T5 HO system. In my 6X7X9 room the standard T5 Ho fixtures raised the temps by 3 degrees per bulb (using 2 X 8 buld fixtures) plus degrees and the Bad Bay's only 1.5 degrees per lamp.

Bought 3 of these 6 months ago and haven't had an issue yet
Great light. Little tight to fit 2 in a 4x4 area. Not sure it was worth the extra $ then a regular t5, but it was the only t5 in stock that I could order that would fit in my 2x4 and then 2 in the 4x4. They do put out some heat so expect to use an ac in summer.

Don't get me wrong they do the job and they are the best fixtures I have
I would not purchase again. These fixtures are flimsy, difficult to balance and the outer bulbs will lose connection with the contacts when adjusting height of fixture or just trying to balance light horizontally. Don't get me wrong they do the job and they are the best fixtures I have. I have nothing to compare them to other than shop lights. They are fairly quiet and they can be run at 240 volts.

Have to put together
Comes all folded up and takes more than 20 screws to put it together. Non brand name ballast. Not a commercial quality light, the frame is floppy. It has two on/off switches so you can select which bulbs you want on.

T5 8 bulb 4 foot light.
This is the second one of these I have owned . The first one lasted over 7 years. This one came in a white not orange but It works fine after you assemble it.

Christmas present pays off !
I've had this now for about 2 weeks, and so far all is good. The plants love it and this will be easier on the electric bill vs a 600 watt HPS. This also helps reduce heat associated with HPS and MH. It was easy to put together and seems to be a good quality product.

Indoor garden is Loving this light!
Great light for our indoor garden! Works perfectly and love that we can turn off 2 bulbs and have it be on just 4 bulbs for a little less light when our plans are smaller. Pretty easy to put together.

The Quantum T5 was very easy to assemble
My order arrived within 2 days on time and undamaged. The Quantum T5 was very easy to assemble,it took less than 15 minutes. This unit puts our very little heat,my plants are loving it and so am I. I'm glad I ordered it. Thanks again. Sincerely, Keith M
