It was broken when I got it

Liked because it was as advertisedAm rewinding old videos to digitize

With the very first VHS tape I tried to rewind the cover would not stay shuit and I had to put a weight on top of it to keep it closed.So disappointing, this product costs way too much for such poor quality.

You put the tape in, shut the lid, and it rewinds like it should. Problem is, you have to be there to push the button to pop up the lid when it’s finished rewinding, or the lid stays down, and the rewind motor continues to run. The tape has stopped moving, but the motor still runs.

Great rewinder! Miss my old one, though because it was able to fast forward AND rewind. All in all, this was still a great buy. Manufacturing videotape rewinders might still be a good niche business. Some videotapes are priceless, and a copy is still just a copy.

I wanted a new one and I paid for a new one. While this one didn't look used, it did not come in an original box. And had no instructions. It makes noises on some tapes and sometimes pops up early. Sometimes you have to hold it down to rewind. I've had better.
