Color name is very misleading.
Great quality product. I took a star off because they call the color Gold and what I got was a VERY dark mustard yellow with brownish hue to it. This was not gold or anything close.

Great service
I normally do not rate products I buy, however, Canvas is exceptional. This is my second review. My first one described the great quality of the canvas. Now, I'd like to tell everyone about their service. I ordered another 5 yards, but I have a deadline for delivery. I contacted the seller and they delivered it quickly, no extra fees. I'm one satisfied customer.

Excellent quality and true color
Easy to work with both the company and the fabric. I underestimated how much i needed so a month later when i started my project and realized i needed more i ordered 3 additional yards… perfect match!!! That’s rare! Highly recommend this company abd its Ottertex canvas!

Creases and folds
I dislike how there are creases and folds in it. Can you iron them out, if so what is the best way?

Canvas, coated on one side with a rubbery substance. Durable. Mildly difficult to sew.
Fabric is a canvas material that’s had a coating applied to one side. It’s pretty stiff when delivered. Has a bit of weight and doesn’t stretch or tear easily. Cut just fine with my fabric scissors. My little sewing machine could only handle three layers (using canvas needles, swapping out as they dulled, 1.5 per project), had to hand stitch anything stacked thicker and use a stronger needle made for stitching sails. Waterproofing is decent on the canvas side and great on the other, just realize if you put holes in it water will pass through, like stitching pockets or seams. I made three projects with my 5 yards. A ground pad for camping (made a pocket, canvas side out and can slip in different pads as needed), a drop blanket for hunting/shooting and a hood. I Took the ground pad camping and canoeing on the South Edisto River in SC. It fell in the river once and floated till I caught it. All the water shed right off with a shake. Had rain encroach on the tent and underside was wet all night but I stayed dry on top, no seepage. Had to let the canvas side that was in constant contact with water air dry, but two hours of overcast and it was dry. Used the hammock another night in the swamps and even with fog stayed dry even though hammock had absorbed a lot of moisture. (Used the pad as a moisture/thermal barrier, hammock is just thin ripstop nylon.). Plus the canvas provided enough grip that I wasn’t constantly sliding into a ball all night. The drop cloth works great on damp ground, canvas absorbs light oils and keeps me comfortable while prone shooting or sitting on ground for extended periods. The coated side is what contacts the ground. Wipes dry, and hangs till next use. The material still too stiff to properly use for a hood. Doesn’t really gather properly when down, and doesn’t breathe, so not great. Kept the rain and wind off my head, but ended up sweating and still being wet.
