Have both "leaf" patterns - still LOVE them a year later!
I’m a long-time duvet + cover user, and I’ve always found it difficult to find an all-cotton cover that is stylish (contemporary, not gaudy or fussy); thick enough to be opaque, to lie smoothly, and to stand up to wear and tear; but not so heavy that I lose the fluffiness of the insert. I want my duvet to ‘float’ over me, not smash down around me so I feel like a mummy. I am SO PLEASED with this duvet cover - I did not expect this level of quality given such a low price. It easily competes with covers I’ve purchased at 3-4+ times the price. I was specifically looking for something light colored to brighten up the room, with enough style that it would be a focal point, and this cover is perfect. I feel relaxed and ‘uplifted’ just walking into the room. It does look just like the photo - colorful without being too bright or loud. I’ve included a couple pictures taken in natural light to give a better idea of the background color after reading the review of the person who felt the background had a dominant ‘purple’ tone. You can see the comparison with a “white index card” I’ve laid across it in the photo - the background is a subtle, very NEUTRAL ’off-white’, (not cream, i.e. not a yellowish off-white). The off-white color doesn’t seem warm OR cool. Being so neutral, it does seem able to pick up on other colors of the room or even colors coming in through a window (e.g. I once curtains in a very neutral taupe that *looked* like a subtle green hanging in a specific room because of lots of green trees outside the window). In my room, with neutral off-white walls, natural light, a med-dark toned wood bedroom set, and no other strong colors, the cover background looks just off-white, as you can see from the photo. It also reverses to a lovely soft green with a “streaked” texture to the color. I couldn’t be happier. Some laundering/care info: I ordered a King size (published dimensions 90”Lx104”W) for my queen-sized bed, planning to take in the sides a little (my duvet insert is “oversized” - 90”L x 99”W - too large for the published measurements of the “queen” size of the duvet cover. HOWEVER - I washed the cover when it first arrived (see next paragraph for a great “first wash” method that really softens the fabric), and I dried it in the dryer (Do note that the care instructions recommend NOT using the dryer, but I don’t have enough space to hang or dry flat something of this size!). Happy ending though: Either the published measurements were not quite accurate, or my cover did shrink - but in WIDTH only - so the post-dryer measurements are now 90”L x 101”W, close enough to fit my duvet insert without requiring alteration. I wish I had checked the measurements before laundering, because the cover looks great out of the dryer - no ironing needed, no puckering along seams or even along the zipper. If anyone reading this purchases a King size cover, I hope you can confirm whether the unwashed width is really 104” - that would confirm how much shrinkage actually occurred, if any, so others can plan accordingly. Don’t be swayed from buying this cover by that little bit of uncertainty - It’s a beautiful cover, I heartily recommend it, and you can’t beat the price! Just check other reviews for any info to help you size correctly if you have an existing insert you want to use.[As noted above e, I highly recommend using a “first wash” method I learned about from other reviewers of fine linens and towels, to removes chemical coatings applied during manufacture, leaving the cotton much softer and more breathable. I have read that NOT using this method for the first wash can cause chemical coatings to be locked in (First Wash Method: wash w/ 1 cup baking soda instead of detergent, add 1-2 cups vinegar to the rinse, then repeat the cycle again, this time with 1/2 the amount of detergent you normally use, and a plain water rinse. ALSO - NEVER use fabric softener or dryer sheets, as those just add another coating to the fibers which interferes w/ initial chemical removal as well as breathability and absorbency). I’m not personally knowledgeable about the chemical(s) issue, but I do know that my sheets and towels are substantially softer and more absorbent since I’ve used this process for the first wash!]UPDATE - Feb 2021: I now have both the 'leaf' patterns - the "DOT Leaves pattern" (soft green/blue 'leaves & trees' reviewed in detail above), and the "Colorful Leaves pattern" (Warner background w/ multi-toned leaves). They both look great after many washings (and dryings in the dryer). One of the photos shows the 2 patterns next to each other for comparison. Both are gorgeous. In fact, I'm switching to a "Scandinavian" bedding style (no top sheet; 2 'individual-sized' duvets), and have searched high and low for couple attractive/soft twin duvet covers--so I'm about to buy 2 of these in a Queen size that I'll alter to a twin width. I don't want to give up the great look I have with the Aimay 'Leaf' duvet covers...there's just nothing I can find (at *any* price) that compares in style, comfort, and quality! It does appears that only the "Colorful Leaves" pattern is currently available (2/21). My personal favorite is the soft green/blue of the "DOT Leaves," but you can't go wrong with either. I stand by my above washing method - it brings out an incredible softness in the fabric that lasts and is also more wrinkle free.(NOTE TO SELLER: Can a happy return customer make a plea to bring the "DOT Leaves" pattern back?? ...hoping to get some in that pattern for gifts, maybe even a backup in case something happens to my own!)

True to size! Love it
I LOVE THIS BEDDING. I'm very picky when it comes to bedding. I don't care how much I spend on bedding as long as its great quality. This is great quality and a lot cheaper than I usually spend so that's a plus. I read reviews on how it's not super soft and the sizing is wrong. Not true for me in fact i think it runs a little bigger than I thought bigger than my last duvet cover. I'm washing it right now to put it on my bed. I can't wait to make my bed and see something super beautiful but yet gender neutral. Such a great find!!! PS. After I washed it it did shrink a little but I'm fine with that because it fit my down comforter better and it still fits my king just fine! I love love love it and same with my hubby!

Love the pattern and colors
I bought this for our queen-sized bed, because the queen-sized duvets never seem to cover enough of the bed for my liking.. The pattern and colors are exactly as shown in the listing images. The material is soft, but does wrinkle fairly easily. It was easy to attach our duvet to this cover via ties, and there is a zipper closure, as opposed to button or tie closures, which I prefer. It hangs over the sides of our bed better, which is what i wanted. I wish it was a little bit longer though, because I have to decide if I want it to cover more of the end of the bed, or reach to the top of the bed. I can't have both. That's the only reason I don't give it full stars, but maybe I'm just being picky. If you found this review to be helpful, please click yes!

Exciting improvement!
This duvet cover set turned a dull guest room into a bright inviting environment! However, I did purchase a king-size for a queen-sized bed for more coverage and not having to purchase a bed skirt. Be mindful of the measurements -- I discovered some duvet inserts were larger than the cover. I washed it as instructed and used the dryer on low. No ironing necessary. I was going to buy another smaller set to use as fabric to make throw pillow covers and curtains, but the print is so distinctive, I think coordinating solids will be a better idea. Maybe another pair of solid heavier fabric sham covers as well. Overall, a winning purchase! Great quality, love the neat zipper instead of hard buttons especially.

Good Value, Good Quality, Sized as stated
Despite some of the negative comments some other buyers made, my Queen size AiMay Duvet Cover Set looked exactly as pictured and was sized as described. I liked the hidden duvet zipper closure, the end closures on the pillow covers, the out of sight labels inside the duvet cover labeled 100% cotton, measured 90 x 90 inches . As per instructions I first washed all in cold water with mild detergent and air dried. It was color fast.If you like the design and colors, and features as I did, then this choice is a good value. It would be good if the Amazon web site included the thread count. It would have reduced the amount of time I spentdeciding t make the purchase.
