Great deal for the $
I was pleasantly surprised as I am a bit reluctant to buy a guitar sight unseen. Well made, nice action, nice tone. I'm happy with my purchase. They only thing I don't care for is the name of the brand.

580mm scale requinto with great amplified sound
I play this guitar/requinto much more than my other guitars due to the comfortable size, cutaway and the wide 52mm nut width. Typical requintos are in the 545mm scale range, while this one is a little bigger at 580mm. Normal tension strings work great up to F# or G, but special requinto strings are required to get to standard A requinto tuning due to the extra tension caused by the longer scale length. I play this through a Yamaha THR5A acoustic amp and it has a great sound when amplified. Unamplified the sound is unfortunately muted with very little bass or sustain. It also had setup problems when I got it with a high nut and a very sharp intonation on the g and b strings requiring saddle modifications. After some modification and amplification, I think this can be a great sounding and portable guitar.

I have to admit, I kinda like it ?
Honestly, it's quality is just about right, to my surprise. It will need a little setting up, action, intonation & fret filing. But so did most of my high end acoustics. I have played authentic requintos prior to and this is not too far off. I am nowhere near a pro guitarist, 20yrs exp. 2 to 4 gigs a wk.(my chops really suck) I would recommend this little gitter if your seeking to play in the key of A. I have not tried the electronics.
