**DON’T buy this Switch case if you want extra room for accessories!** My sister bought this case (but green for Luigi) so I bought the red Mario one. I thought her’s was adorable! And I knew I just had to have one too! But, now that I’m actually checking my own case out in person rather than just seeing it online or in the hands of my sister, I completely dislike this case. When mine first arrived in the mail, I was super excited (too excited, as I ripped the box open and then threw it away right then *face palm*), but immediately put out as I noticed the box it was shipped in was almost completely mangled. When I took it out of the box, I noticed a really nasty smell. It smelled like a mix of hard plastic and old, lingering cigarette smoke. I’ve had the case for two days now, and the smell still hasn’t gone away. Even tried spraying it with perfume and leaving it out for awhile. Nothing works; it still stinks really, really badly and now that I’ve had my Switch in it, it has started to stink as well. When I put my Switch in this case, it fit perfectly, but when I tried to put my joy-con straps in the little mesh pocket inside the case, the case wouldn’t zip or close at all! I tried moving them around the pocket and laying them in different positions, but nothing worked. They simply don’t fit when the Switch is in there. I don’t even know why there is a mesh pocket sewn in this case, when nothing fits when the Switch is placed inside. I love the look of this case, but am disappointed with the overall size and scent of this case. I hope I can still return this even though I threw the box away.

This case is identical to the red Amazon Basics Switch case, but with the addition of the outer overalls. It is a fun case that helps the Switch to stand out a little more. The zipper was a little rough on opening but smoothed out after using it a few times. In order to open the case, it is necessary both to undo the snaps as well as the zipper, which adds a little extra security but also does take about one second longer to open than a case with the zipper alone. The Switch itself fits fine along with a USB-C cable for charging and game carts or SD cards in the game card holder. The official charger doesn't fit in the case, so it will need to be carried separately if you opt to use that instead. Good quality case at a good price!

I use this to take my switch to and from work so the joycons don't get smashed around in my bag. I've received so many compliments on it! It really is a cute idea and is a nice place to keep my switch safe :)

I love this mario case. It stores everything the y need from extra games, cords, and controllers. The case is sturdy and easy to carry, i love that the external part of the case is hard, so I don't fear the device getting damaged if it's in a backpack. Very happy with our purchase! Plenty of space for the device, games, extra controllers.I also like that inside the case there are elastic straps to hold the device in place, so it's not sliding around inside.I saw all comments that it is smelling, but I think the bag with some smell is hard to avoid, so I put it on the balcony for a few days and it go.Whenever I play the game, my friends find this Mario switch case, they like it very much, I think its mario design is very worthwhile.i like to share this mario switch with my friends, and i will buy another one for them,anyway,it is a good gift choice.

When I opened the package the box was ripped at the top as if someone had already opened it. Once I opened it, the nastiest smell of cigarette smoke came out of it. I'm letting it air out right now, however, I do not think this case will ever smell okay.

The case is notably cheaper than other cases of similar quality, and seems to work pretty well. In spite of actually being a slim case, it can fit my switch while still in it’s rather bulky rubber grip. This is impressive as it’s about the same size as the case. The case does not have a handle, although as I keep it inside of a larger bag that isn’t much of an issue. The suspenders on the mario design have pretty high quality metal buttons in them, and do a good job of keeping it closed even without the zipper. Overall it’s a good case, I would rate it 8/10.

I've been wanting to get a case for awhile, but wanted the 'right one'. And this case exceeds my expectations. The switch fits perfectly and safely in the case, and there's plenty of room for games and other accessories. Highly recommend!
