Excellent dashcam, have been looking at getting one for ...
Excellent dashcam, have been looking at getting one for a long time and liked the design of this one slim and not some massive brick shape stuck on the window. Whereas this design fits nicely behind my rearview mirror, and is hard to spot unless you look for it. I located mine on the left hand side of the rear view mirror, so whilst driving I can't see the screen to avoid any distracting light emitting from the screen at night. Wire is tucked in nicely along the top, down the edge of the passenger door, under along the footwell and back out and around to the cigarette lighter. Depends how your cigarette lighter works (either on all the time or only when the engine is on) - but recording begins and ends with the engine on/off.Image quality is 8/10, it may be the shape of my windscreen (suzuki swift sport 2013) - but the far right and left are a tiny bit blurry for recognition. When pausing the video number plates can still just about be read, directly in front is crystal clear. Sound is also very good, even with a stereo and sub blaring away, the sound is actually not distorted at all and any other noises can be heard.Very good value purchase, would not hesitate recommending this dashcam to anyone looking to get one in this day and age of two sided accident stories. Gives great peace of mind that any idiot that may cause you an issue will be recorded for any evidence needed.Favourite part is the design, very small inconspicuous.UPDATEWas so impressed I bought another for the rear window. If doing the same, ensure you buy a much longer USB cable. I bought a 5m cable and was a perfect length for my small Suzuki Swift. Wire is hidden under the passenger footwell, around under the passenger door, under the rear passenger door, up the rear door pillar and neatly along the back window to the camera. As I was sticking it to the fabric internal roof, a bit of superglue solved the problem and keeps it nice and secure.

Great little camera and very goog picture quality
Great little camera and very goog picture quality, adapter broke after 2 days and the company said they would post one - which they haven't, hence put at 3 stars. Great camera let down by poor service.

Excellent product, does the job well
Easy to install, been using for some time, works without an issue, picture is great, be aware will show reflections of the dashboard if it is sunny. don't need to worry about the camera. It auto records when ignition is on and turns off when the ignition is turned off, videos automatically overwrite older videos on the SD card, perfect camera for the price.

A really well thought out little dashcam
This is a really well thought out little dashcam. I opted for the capacitor version as I see it living a longer life with no battery constantly cycling through charges. The downside of this of course is that you can't leave it running whilst the car is off and catch people bumping into your pride and joy whilst you do your shopping. I ordered a Samsung 32GB class 10 micro SD card and the additional GPS module which plugs into the rear of the unit and displays the speed on the screen. This comes with just enough cable to get it round the screen and affixed to the dash. The cameras usb power cable, which plugs Into the supplied cigarette lighter adaptor, is of quite some length and will reach just about anywhere, even once buried within the trim.Mounting the camera high on the windscreen is easy enough with the supplied 3M pads. There were a couple extra included in the box for the future which is nice. Above the camera there is a cable tidy which is rather neat and makes your installation look rather professional. I mounted this first and then secured the camera base beneath it but was then unable to slot the camera in. The correct technique it seems is to do that, but mount the camera in its base first before plugging the cables in the back as they pushed against the windscreen and made clipping the unit in almost impossible. Without the cables in it slides in easily (you'll see what I mean). Once mounted you can plug the cables in, secure them in the tidy and then adjust the viewing angle up and down by twisting the grip on the side. Hidden behind the rear view mirror it's very difficult to see from the drivers seat and isn't at all obvious from the outside. As soon as the ignition is on the camera bursts into life with a jingle and starts recording automatically. The buttons are fiddly and don't make much sense but once you've fought through the menu and set it up you can leave it be and it will do its job very nicely from there on in. There are plenty of options, audio recording on/off, gps, motion detection and screen saver to name a few. I recommend you turn on the screen saver function, it turns the screen off after a few mins and mine wasn't configured this way by default. There are a few LEDs above the screen including a record light which flashes away to indicate its working. Turn the ignition off and it will turn off in its own time.In summary a well thought out little cam but with some fiddly buttons. I've given it 4 stars for now, only because it's early days and I want to see how it fairs given some daily use. I'll come back and update once I've spent a bit more time with it.Good pointsCapacitor instead of batteryVery unobtrusiveLooks professionally installed with the cable tidy designLong power cableExtra sticky padsBad pointsI can't seem to change the speed away from kphMenu / buttons are fiddly

Neat camera but
Very nice neat camera, only problem was I couldn't get it work. It stayed stuck on a blue screen and wouldn't respond at all. It also wouldn't recognise the memory card being inserted. Contacted the seller and they tried to help but couldn't offer a solution so I had to return it. Didn't feel confident enough to try with another one the same so decided to look for an alternative
