Warm and Comforting Da Hong Pao
This Da Hong Pao oolong is rich, warm, and very comforting. The flavor is full-bodied with pleasant roasted, nutty, and slightly caramel notes. It is smooth on the stomach and perfect for relaxing in the evening. A wonderful tea that I will definitely reorder.

Best oolong ever and I truly mean it.
I have bought this 3 times in two months. It's my favorite tea by far. Everything about it is extraordinary, the flavor, the mouth feel, the quality of the leaves. I have many different oolong teas and this is my go to, I drink it everyday. It holds it's flavor well into the 6th and 7th gaiwan brew. I even cold brew it overnight, it turns out amazing. I also cold brew peach oolong and mix it 50/50 with this for a delightful summer tea. I'm telling you this is it, the one you've been searching for. Buy it and be happy!

It's Okay... It's not as great as some reviewers make it out to be...
So, I've been collecting and tasting Da hong pao for many years...After reading all the great reviews here - I figured this one must be great. Well, it's really just okay. Nothing special, nothing fantastic. Sometimes, it reminds me of bagged Oolong tea, in fact. Kind of plain. It's drinkable, but I've found several others that beat it in flavor & aroma. It does allow you to brew several times - I just increase the time a little bit. But overall, I was pretty disappointed. You do get a big bag for your money. This will last a while. But there are much better-tasting ones here... I wish I could've relied on the reviews. I think many folks out there need to try different ones, so they *know* what a good-tasting Big Red Robe tea tastes like. I bought some less-expensive packets which taste waayyy better.

Third Grade DaHong Pao
This is a review of the Non-smokey Lapsong Suchong (Zheng Shan XiaoZhong), which is probably my favorite Black Tea. Fruity, mouth filling, nuanced: I never get tired of it. I do have better Zheng Shan's than this one but they are also more than twice the price. I'd call it a good daily drinker, except it's actually better than that. This is a very good introduction to this tea for someone who may not be familiar with it or perhaps has had the smokey version and is interested in this more nuanced delicious version. Or someone like me who just really likes Zhen Shan Xiao Zhong and is willing to brew it a bit longer than usual and accept less gongfu brewings out of it, but have enough to last all winter.

The overall return on flavor is great
It's a perfect balance of flavor, brew and price. Been looking for tea like this for a while.

Good quality
Good quality herb, plenty in the bag to last a while. A little of this goes a ling way.

The BEST Tea
This tea is tasty, smooth, not at all like tea bags. Large leaves unravel in teapot and can be used more than once. I look forward in the evening to my tea the next morning.
