I have loved Denby's cups and plates since I bought a mug cup in London 38 years ago. This time I wanted a large plate and a soup bowl which are bigger in size than most items sold in Japan, and this dinner set is perfect. I like the sandy and not-too-flashy pink colour, and the rim of the plates is a little raised so it can be used for quite saucy dishes.

Very happy with this lovely dinner service. Very sturdy ( a bit heavy!) but just what we needed. The bowls are generous and would be fine for soups cereals or desserts. And the colour (Fern Green) is a beautiful soft smoky blue/green, more subtle than I anticipated. Also, really well packaged so no breakages. Just a note to sender, it would be better use of the ‘Fragile’ sticky tape if it was on the outside of the package and not the box inside!

Having previously owned a Denby dining set which lasted for many years, I'm really pleased that the quality is still top notch. This set also looks great and is very durable so doesn't mark or scratch. My only slight gripe is that due to their design, the bowls don't fit very easily into the dishwasher, although I can still get them in with a bit of manipulation. I bought two sets and they were very well packaged with no damage to either set.

I have the whole set of the Denby Elements Fossil Grey dinnerware. It’s a great quality set which has a good weight/thickness to all the items. The fossil grey is on the outside with a lighter colour on the inside. Everything comes wrapped individually and is packaged well so nothing was broken. It did take me quite a while to unpack everything and take the two stickers off each items (I got enough sets for 8 people) The whole set is a good size, the smaller/side plate is a really good size. I use it for smaller portioned dinners as well as things such as toast or cakes. The dinner plate is a larger version and I like that they both have a raised edge as it stops those awkward spills when chasing food around the plate! The bowls are good as they are deep with high sides, so are perfect for cereals, soups etc. The other winning thing to mention is that the whole set is both dishwasher and microwave safe. I’ve put mine in both regularly since getting them and they are still perfect. Amazon also had the best price that I have found for this dinnerware. It is pricey but you get what you pay for and this is well worth it.

This set is perfect, colour exactly what I wanted . You cannot beat Denby for quality in my opinion. Packaging was very good the dinner set was safe and secure.

I have the elements fossil and needed an extra place setting. It arrived and the side/ dessert plate was 17 cm diameter, not 22cm as shown in the pictures. The plate is incompatible with the side plates I have. Rubbish set really.

This set looks great. The dishes are beautiful and heavy. I love that they are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. One bowl arrived broken. I contacted Denby through their website and they replied right away to replace it. I look forward to using these dishes each day. Update- the dishes are fabulous. Heavy and beautiful. Love the lip on the plate to help prevent any drips!

Un po' costosi ma molto belli e resistenti. La ciotola un po' piccola rispetto a un piatto fondo. Un plus che possano essere messi in forno, permette la cottura di piatti già porzionati.

Excellent quality product, but the bowls were not protected with bubble wrap and one arrived in two pieces.
