Very clear, bought a second pair

These speakers sound awesome! Even though they’re being driven by just a basic stock Mopar stereo, that probably puts out about 12 W per channel. So, even while being driven by only 12 W these speakers still go very loud, and put out very strong clean bass, along with great mid range and outstanding highs. I can’t wait to hear them after I upgrade my head unit, and drive them with some real power!I highly recommend these speakers! And they completely blow away comparable JBL‘s! When I tried the JBL‘s side-by-side, there was no comparison to the pioneers! I can’t say enough, good things about these speakers, and I highly recommend them!

I was looking for a budget upgrade to my 2022 Ram 1500 DT (new body style) truck. I can confirm these fit all four doors with no modifications. They are running on the factory base uconnect system with 5 inch screen and they sound great without an amp. Big difference between these and the factory oem speakers. These are louder and clearer. I can use max volume, if I wanted, without distortion. I am not an audiophile, but these sound great to my ears. If you want a meaningful upgrade at a low cost, look no further, this is it. I have these in the front doors and the Pioneer TS-A6960F 4-way speakers in the back doors. This was only because I couldn't get two matching sets to arrive on the same day when I ordered. No matter, both are great speakers and I am very pleased with the results. I also have Kicker DS 3.5 inch speakers in the dash to complete the upgrade.

Still working good after all these years

Used these speakers to replace the front door oem speakers in a 2003 dodge ram 1500. They were very easy to install, and had the mounting bracket and wires included. I had to cut the oem connector and attach the one included. Worked great, sound quality is decent for the price, if you are looking for heavy bass these are not made for that purpose.

I have these installed in my 1985 Cadillac Coupe DeVille's rear deck with bass-filters, paired with dash mounted 4x6's with inline high-pass-filters, they set the sound stage to go along with the two trunk 12 inch subs.These 6x9s are possibly more bass heavy if amplified separately from my headunit's specs, ( I'm just running with a headunit 90watts per speaker), so you may get more boom with amplification! :)2024 Update and I forgot to add...- Yes, I have them installed in the rear deck, but I forgot to say, that I'm not using the speakers grills that came with them, I have the stock rear deck cover for that (just an oversight in my last review), sorry.- They still haven't been paired with an aftermarket amp, but I may add one in the future, too see if I can get some more mid-bass boom out of them. Right now they are fine for my multi-genre listening standards. :)

While I am not sure what is meant by "sheerness" or "thickness" in the context of 6" x 9" speakers, I gave these speakers the highest marks simply because they have transformed my listening experience in my car. I drive a Mini Cooper S and replaced the factory speakers with these Pioneer speakers. The improvement in sound quality is startling!First of all, the tweeters in the five-way speakers provide excellent reproduction of the high end. Cymbals now sparkle and sizzle when I listen to my favorite band, Little Tommy and the Blues Kings. On the low end, the bass is both deep and full. It isn't a match for a separate subwoofer, but, for the music that I listen to, Rock and Roll, Blues, Gospel, Jazz and R&B, it is excellent. The small mid-woofers fill in the middle of the music with clarity and punch. Little Tommy never sounded so good!I am sure that there are better car speakers in the world, but, for the money, these are a fantastic bargain. I don't know how well they will last, as I just installed them four days ago, but, if they were only to last a year, I would gladly buy them again just for the sound quality they offer.

Ordered these cuz I wanted the 5-way & they were a great price & got sent the 4-way wich I already own a set of these.... I been waiting for these for my hotrod project build & I'm not happy!
