Picked up an LED Ceiling Light. Needed a mount. This mount worked great. Easy to mount and assemble. Once finished. Looked like a Pro had installed the light. Wife made that commit not me. Although I will have to say it does look nice.

The product was perfect for my surface mount on kitchen ceiling. Anchors in sheet rock are fine as the whole unit is light weight and it slid into the frame like perfect. u tube was very helpful in squaring it up and especially wiring on an existing box. Touched the end cap screw heads with a little white paint to match and it worked perfectly. Could not get one of these frames from Home depot. Figure that.

The item came with no literature and the sheet rock anchors it came with were terrible. I had to buy separate ones just to complete the installation.

Great product, wish I knew about it before I bought the light so I could buy together. No biggie because this was shipped in two days. Hardware was quality and easy installation.

We ended up painting this and installing a flat panel in our kitchen. It was a little complicated to get everything centered correctly. The metal was pretty good quality.

Happy with final result, but really should come with the following instructions that would make your chance of success much higher:1) Assemble frame completely - all screws tight - this makes the screws easier to install once installed2) On the end that is going to be removed for install, remove JUST THE 2 SCREWS that will be impossibly close to the ceiling (and therefore hard to remove). Leave the other 2 and the end piece in place for now3) Locate the frame in the desired position (helper absolutely a necessity!)4) Notice that the frame is VERY wobbly in this state, so you MUST verify that the corners are square before you completely tie all fasteners down5) Now remove the additional 2 screws on the end to be opened, and remove the end piece6) Slide the LED panel in from the end and complete wiring. Be warned that the frame is weak enough in this state that the panel will slip out and fall if not suspended. So one person needs to hold the panel while the other does the wiring. If the rails were thicker they wouldn't flex so much to allow this to happen7) Install the removed end piece and replace the screws. The 2 near the ceiling really require a flex driver, u-joint drive, etc. in order to install them. But since you pre-threaded the holes in step 1, this is not too hardBetter instructions, heavier gauge metal (so less twisting) and white screws (rather than silver) and would have given 5 stars

Easy to assemble and looks good attached to kitchen ceiling

The frame is not stiff enough. I could not hold the frame to the ceiling by myself, without adding extra braces to keep it square and flat. After that, it worked well. I will buy again, and add extra braces again.
