I bought 2 of these. One was to be a gift and the other was for me. The outside box of this was very nice and I could not wait to open it. I did have a minor issue with one of them. SKYMARK HOME took care of the issue right away, they really went out of their way to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this Journal, it’s beautiful.I’m sorry I forgot to mention the fact that SKYMARK HOME replaced my Journal, but they sent 2 new Journals, I got them in 3 days. This is a company that truly cares, they didn’t have to do that, the Journals were beautiful. I’m sorry I didn’t get this in here, I have been sick, not feeling well at all. Thank you SKYMARK.

The media could not be loaded.  My journal came in today; I was so excited about getting a high-quality leather journal, except...it wasn’t. When I opened up the box, I noticed that the pen had popped out of the slot in the box.The leather cover was what really irritated me, though. It felt cheap, it came with a bunch of scratches, more than what something new should have. I tried rubbing them out, but it was pointless. The inside cover reminded me of imitation leather. Ugh! 😑😕 The charm was at the bottom, but in the way. It looked/felt awkward. Overall, I think I’ll send this back and try to find something better in B&N. It may cost a bit more, but at least I know the ones they do have are leather!😒

This notebook feels great and has plenty of paper. The pen ink is replaceable and writes smoothly. You can remove the inner packets of paper and replace them, or just have a smaller notebook. My only problem was that the feather pendant/charm arrived broken, which is something to watch out for. I'm hoping the company will send a new one, but I'm unsure how to contact them outside of this review. I will update if anything happens.Edit: The company sent me a new notebook that arrived in working order. I'm super happy with my notebook(s) and with the company! I would recommend this notebook and company to anyone!

I'm in the middle of the road with this one. I guess for the price it's ok. I have a lot of leather journals and compared to them this one feels like rubber. I use to work with leather making belts , wallets and purse's and my leather never felt like this even the split hides didn't. The feather came attached to the bottom ( which is in the way) instead of on a bookmaker type cord as in the pictures. So I am not sure if I am keeping it but for the most part the inside of it is nicely put together and the large one is perfect in size. The little one next to the one I just got I bought a few years ago and you can see the difference in the leather , the little one doesn't feel like rubber.

I am very disappointed in this purchase. I bought it for my wife's birthday because it looked really nice online. Unfortunately the cover of the journal is all scratched. A few scratches would not have looked bad on the leather, but there were just too many for a new purchase. Also the pen doesn't work as the pen nib won't stay down. Anytime you try to write with it the nib goes back into the pen.I will be returning this item.

I really love this journal!. It is beautiful and so many functionalities. To get rid of the scratches easy to just rub out. The pen is beautiful and writes excellently. I will buy more of this travel journal for gifts!

I bought this for my father as a gift for Father’s Day. He has been having some issues with memory lately and I figured this may be a way to help him retain special things in his life. He has had nothing but praise about the quality and craftsmanship of this product.This is a genuinely great gift to get someone who has everything else. I was worried he wouldn’t like it, he has used it almost everyday. I will soon have to order him another.

Came with three notebooks not good quality. Held together by elastic thread that's attached to the cover and has a dangley metal piece hanging off of it not to mention an long feather attached to it. The elastic was long the feather is metal. I decided it's weird having the notebooks piled on top of each other so I took out two and will add them one at a time when I finish one. This is why I shouldn't buy online.
