This is a high quality kitchen instrument that I will be using quite often. Lacks detailed instructions but is easy enough to figure out. Be careful as it is VERY sharp, so always use the included hang guard. Easy to clean.

Actually, rarely use it. y slicing knife works just as well. Will practice using it more.

This was my first Mandoline slicer as suggested by my wife to purchase. I had a hard time getting the slices just right. Slices much thinner than I would prefer. Also, holding whatever you want to cut is a little tricky, it needs a better grip. I figured this would be easier to use based on previous reviews. I've only used it once and not looking forward to using it in the near future.

I like this compact and nifty mandoline! You can cut bi-directionally when the blade is straight and requires a bit of pressure to slice (e.g., cucumbers). Nonetheless, prepping has been super quick and fun! When you switch the blade to cut into matchsticks, the blade cuts in 1 direction only.

This is perfectly designed to give you very thin slice of food (vegetables, fruits, and more). I love this slicer so much, I literately use them everyday. Also it has julienne feature as well but I am a slicer than julienne so not much to say for that feature for me but it is good to know it has that feature right? very easy to handle very easy to clean. (I just put them in the dishwasher and forget about it lol)

Bought two of these Mandolines for my adult kids. They like how thin it slices and how easy it is too use. I was surprised when they showed me vegetables they cut using this Mandoline. Even the thickest sliced carrot was very thin. It will not cut nice sliced tomatoes because the settings won't go thick enough. The advertisement pictures show much thicker slices of tomatoes. Not sure if these are keepers or not.

Completely failed to meet my expectations.

I purchased this for one item for our fall canning and it's fantastic for thinly slicing eggplant for canning.My kids love the thin apple slices I can get from this, as well.Great safety handle to protect hands.

Purchased based on good reviews - what a mistake! Broke after a handful of uses. The plastic plate where you select the thickness snapped on the side meaning the plate can’t stay flat. Even before it broke it was flimsy and trying to get it back in place caused me to cut myself.
