75Lb Broadcast Spreader

I have had this spreader for one and a half years and I have had nothing but problems with it from the first time I used it. The biggest problem is that fertilizer gets in between the hopper and the dispensing plate which causes it to jam in the open position. You can move the lever all you want but it will not move the plate. Needless to say this causes significant problems because you can not stop the flow of fertilizer so you end up with large burn spots in your lawn.I contacted Precision and they were very nice and tried to solve the problem by shipping out some new parts free of charge. Unfortunately the new parts did not fix the problem so the spreader went into the trash can. What a waste of money. My next spreader will have solid linkage and NO CABLE!

The most important part on this unit which is the switch mechanism for opening and closing the hopper trap is poorly constructed, and the switch it's self did not stand up to the tention set by the factory for it's operation. Therefore, apon my first attempt to use this device the plastic switch broke, rendering the unit basicly inopporable. For $69.99 I expected something with at least somewhat better construction. The whole unit wasn't built poorly, but when the most important part doesn't stand up to the stress of normal operation, it tells me the parts were not good to start with. So I give this product a 1 out of 5 rating.

I bought it to salt my long driveway and the walkways around the house. Unfortunately, the spreader works so good that it srpays the calcium chloride with a 15 foot radius, no matter how slow you walk. A lot of wasted melter but works as advertised I guess.

This is an awesome spreader for the price. The plastic feel control is alittle frail when loaded but functional.

This was a great spreader for the price, easy to move around, the spreader did an even job. The only downsides is that it appears to close the holes about 95% when you shut it off and it comes with a warning about not pulling it backwards althou I've seen no bad effects from doing it. All in all very happy with it during it's first summer.

Purchased this spreader about 2.5 years back. I really like to inflated tires which make it is easy to push through the lawn.I have used it very moderately. However the control handle which set the amount of fertilizer to be dropped and spread is cheaply made and it is easy to break.Found mine broken this spring when I was getting ready for my spring fertilizer application. The company have very very short warranty .... 90 days !! So be aware ...I am now looking for a replacement ...

The cable pulled loose from the control lever and the other end of the cable failed where it connects to the hopper opening and closing slide. This happen on the second operation of this product a year after I brought it. So sadly, it was out of warranty. I would not recommend this product at all.

One tire was damaged upon opening, fixed the tire. Used one time and the agitator in the middle broke making it near impossible to push. Ended up finishing one yard then returning it. Biggest waste of time and money. I ended up buying a lesco brand like I should have from the start.
