If you want a hood that looks good, this Windster unit will meet you needs, However, if you plan on cooking and using the light, choose another brand. The light switch is cheap and will stop working after very little use. My light switch initially broke after several months of use (probably turned on the light 25 times). The replacement lasted eight months which put me over the one year warranty. The third light switch just failed - the unit is only 16 months old. It should be noted that the switch is broken on the floor model at Pacific Sales, Windster's main distributor. The sheet metal work (seams, welds…) is great, but all that is pointless if you can't turn on the light or fan.
