Fabulous and super cheap
Fabulous little pen, especially for the money! I wanted a fountain pen I don’t have to worry too much about loosing at work (people are always wanting to borrow fountain pens. A surprising number of folks have never seen one) and this certainly fits that bill. But this writes well, a little wet and not at all scratchy. I like the converter too, very smooth. Now if I can just manage to steal it back from the middle schooler... or buy her one of her own!

Very fine nib - know what you are buying
This was my second Kakuno, the first was from a different seller on Amazon, and came with an F nib, rather than EF. This one is truly an extra-fine, which I enjoy. Be cautious though; it may be far too fine for many writers, i.e. in certain hands it may feel very scratchy, which may be frustrating. I have a background in pointed-pen calligraphy, and have used Pilot F nibs for years, so I knew what I was getting into. It's definitely not scratchy in my hand, but if you prefer using a bit of pressure when you write, it might dig into your paper like a needle! If you have a pen collection though, something this fine is a great addition. It's similar in "fine-ness" to the Platinum EF desk pen, which I recommend as well (and it looks more professional), but the Pilot's nib feels less rigid.

Good beginner pen
I got this pen to have a small collection of kakunos and this was very smooth for a fine nib! Wonderful pen and the extras of the converters and sticky notes is a good addition

Good pen for the price
I really enjoy this pen. Unfortunately it has no clip to keep it attached to my traveler's notebook so I keep it in a basket by my chair.

Great fountain pen; good "starter" pen but also a great take-along for experienced FP users who travel.
Really fun fountain pen with a smooth nib. Pilot cartridges work great or you can use the converter to fill with bottled ink. The section where you grip the pen is shaped, however, and obviously created with right-hand writers in mind. Lefties might enjoy it less.

Extra fine but good quality
Very good quality. notice that you need to use the pen to suck ink not just the case. ALSO note that the EF is much finer than Lammy's EF - i don't know that o.w. Would get a F instead of EF. ANYWAY LOVE IT.

Great value for its price.
The fountain pen comes in it’s original package with 2 con-40 and a sticky notes. Great when u want to switch with different colors. Went with a medium nib and it’s prob the same 0.5 G2 point when in writing. Will update later when it’s being used.

Not worth the Frustration
Very little ink and keeps a large air pocket in reservoir. Ink dries out very easily Must be cleaned every time I need to use it. And then it's usually out of ink.
