LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!
I ride a Specialized Sirrus and am an avid rider, good for about 1,500 miles a year on a variety of surfaces. This written, I'm not the guy in the spandex riding shorts, I'm usually in casual lightweight gym shorts or swim trunks, with Keen sandals on my feet to keep them cool in the occasional 105 summer days here in Austin, so I need a good saddle since I don't wear padded shorts. I've had many bikes over the years, but since I don't race anymore, I found the hybrid was the setup for me. My Sirrus is about 9 years old and extensively modified (including the child seat, haha). I'll typically pick my son up on Fridays, we'll stop for a snack on the way home or maybe a park, then head for home, about 20 miles over asphalt, trails and hills. I'm always alert for new components to make my pony more comfortable or better performing. Having gone through several saddles on this bike, I settled on a Serfas FS-243 (the worn out saddle on the fender of my Jeep), a very good saddle in all regards, but it always felt about an inch too narrow. I'm 6', about 215 and we have a lot of hills around here. Peddling up these with an extra 60 lbs (child and seat), would literally wear my ass out due to the seat width. When the lycra cover on the Serfas finally started to tear, I decided to order several saddles and compare them, all 1" to 2" wider. I ordered a Planet Bike ARS Spring ($54.00), a Serfas Cruiser EG-8000 E ($54.00) and this Puroma ($17.00). I expected the ARS to prevail...Wasn't even close, the cheap saddle, the Puroma, is the saddle I've been looking for. It has the spring suspension, which I prefer (absorbs bumps and road noise much better than elastomer suspension, and the slight left / right rocking with your peddling cadence gives a little more power up hills). The relief groove is deep and the vent hole hole is wide. The padding is very deep, plush and comfortable and the saddle contours are perfect for comfortable peddling. The saddle material is thick and the construction is sturdy. If you're wanting a comfortable long range saddle, this is the one. Don't let the price fool you, this is a well designed and constructed saddle and will make your ride even better. Try it, you'll like it.

Do not buy this bike seat - it is incredibly chintzy
Please see the photos. This bike seat was purchase October 1 2018. It is now April 10 2019. What you are looking at is 6 months of use. Terrible. The seat started to fall apart immediately. Please note: I ride my bike about 20 miles per week. I don't "ride hard." I use it as a casual commuter bike. Please do not buy this seat. And, if I were you, I'd be suspicious of any other products offered by the vendor "PuromaDirect" unless they are backed up by stellar reviews.I wasted my hard earned money on this product and had to purchase another bike seat today. A much better one, might I add. I will avoid this manufacturer and vendor for any future purchases.

well made
This seat got great reviews so I thought I should give it a try. I replaced seats on vintage 1980 10 speed bikes. We've had these bikes for 35 years and now that we're older I felt it best to convert them into cruiser bikes for comfort. While being a big improvement compared to the narrow lightly padded original seats....with these, I still get a sore butt about 1 hour into riding. I wish there was just a bit more padding and more spring suspension for my skinny rump. I may try to find a gel seat cover to fit this seat. My wife loves the seat and says she feels fine riding for long periods.

Great Seat for the Money, But Needs More Forward Positioning (Maybe)
I just got this in and mounted it on my 2019 Radrover. I road it around for a bit and then started hearing a screeching noise. Thought the springs just needed some grease. Got back to the house and found out that the rear handle was coming down and rubbing against the front of my Ibera case, on the Ibera rear rack. Doh!!! I tried a few things and then finally had to setting for more preload on my Suntour seatpost shock absorber. That seems to have done the trick. If I decide that I want the softer ride again, I'm going to have to do some custom work to that seat handle. On the plus side, the seat didn't look like it was going to be wide enough, but it's actually quite comfortable. I'm going to have to ride it more to determine if long-term use will continue to feel as good though. The padding is not too soft or too hard. It's just right, as Goldie would say.
