Citizen Watch 295-6900 Genuine Original Energy Cell - Battery - Capacitor for Eco-Drive Watch (Same as 295-69)

This is the only battery which can work for Citizen models with the rechargeable capacitor.

Fit perfectly and works just like the original.

This cell was easy to install (hardest part was getting the watch back off). I was hoping that the watch would reset itself but I needed to call Citizen and they emailed me instructions to reset and re-zero the watch. I did have to charge the battery for several days in sunlight before resetting it.

This "capacitor" as it is called by Citizen, stores electricity produced by photocells built into the watch. You should use a case wrench to open the watch. The capacitor/battery is held in place by a metal strap that is screwed to the chassis. Rather than try and remove a very small screw, I simply bent the strap back to install the capacitor/battery. Care must be taken to align a copper tab on the capacitor/battery to properly seat it in the watch. After closing up, do a reset and let it sit in the window to charge up.

A little pricey but it fit my watch perfectly snd brought it back to life. Would recommend.

My Citizen watch works like new again.

Works fine for my E210 movement ...check case back for movement number to see if battery is compatible ..it's essential!..install it or take the battery to a jeweler who can install it for you for a small fee on the spot(best option).
