Used for a baby monitor, I like how its encrypted. We shut off the volume on the camera speaker and just used it for video (still can hear the room, but in case it is hacked no one can talk to the baby). The alert system is a little off. I would get a million alerts during the day when the room was empty but none at night when the baby was actually in there, so we just shut that feature off. The app crashes a bit which kind of stinks in the middle of the night when I'm already asleep I don't notice that its not on (also my phone screen needs to be on and in the app whenever we want to watch so have to have phone light in my room all night which I don't like. or when we're outside in the pool and baby is napping, I have to keep checking to make sure it is still on. My husband travels for work most of the time and he loves being able to check on the baby when he's out. Highly recommend, easy to set up, easy to use. Will be buying additional for more rooms in the house.

I would not consider this a true baby monitor. Its just a home security camera. Real baby monitors have passive microphones that always listen in case your baby crys, then notifies the receiver that there is no noise in the room. This camera does not do that. There is a microphone that will record audio, but it only works when you have the camera app open on your phone. If your phone screen happens to turn off, it cuts off the audio coming through to your phone. That defeats the purpose of it being a true baby monitor. Also, there is no room temperature monitor and it does not play music, despite what another reviewer named Yooyoo claimed.All in all, this should work fine as a home security camera, but not as a baby monitor. We are returning this product due to false advertising.

Really love this monitor. The video quality is really good even in dim light. It’s easy to install that you just need to follow the instructions. You could change the angle of view by sliding the screen of your phone. Perfect design! Another function surprised me is the “alert mode”. I tried to turn it on when I at home. When I step into the view of the camera, it alerted loudly. It could be a excellent protection when I take a vacation. The only drawback is the quality of additional bracket, not as good as the the monitor itself.

I absolutely love this camera. The peace of mind it gives me is priceless. My mother whom I care for 24/7 is blind and has dementia, she attempts to walk without her Walker more often lately and frequently falls. The camera helps me spot her quickly and the intercome helps to redirect her when I talk to her. A few issues that should be addressed are the skipped areas of recording and the volume of the mic. It's very difficult to hear when mom speaks to the camera. I gave the link to my daughter's and brother's family so they can check in on mom and talk to her. I can run to the store while she's resting and check on her on the phone app. Funny story, I have suspected mom of faking falls and lowering herself to the floor then sitting there waiting for someone to come in, she always denies the accusation, the recording on the camera confirmed my suspitions.

The app crashes on all the platforms most of the times. Also the camera is quite difficult to align since it seems to do its own thing while scrolling. Scrolling works okay for small adjustments. I do jot use the recording features so have no inputs on that

We would def buy again. Not only can use above baby crib but also can use around house when baby no longer needs. The price is great for what you get. I wish you could connect to more than 1 phone so that daddy can check in on baby when he is at work also. We ended up buying 2 and connecting each one to each of our phones. I love that you can easily move it (silently) up down and all around the room. It takes videos as well as just a quick check if needed. Its quiet and the app is very easy to set up. People complained of it making noises. It does during set up but the "notifications" in the app once set up were automatically set to silent. Not sure where the issue is for some. I love them, will buy more.

Pros: Device itself is okay. Picture is good considering price paid. Movement is VERY silent and great range. Easily mounted on wall to see entire baby's room. Night vision is very good.Cons: App to operate device is HORRIBLE - tried it on PC, and 3 different Android devices. I have not tried any Apple devices. I have to re-log into the app 100% of the time when I switch windows on my phone and 80% of those times I have to restart the app in order for it to load correctly. And resets work only 50% of the time. Scrolling back in the video is temperamental and hard to get to exact minutes you want to review. Recording works sometimes... it stops recording at random times. Called customer service about this for technical support and they said something to the affect of "No other customers complained about so the issue is on your end - you can return the device if you want."

I could not be more happy with this product, motion detector effective, 1080 video quality clear, night vision very responsive, you can control all the aspect of this camera thrugh the phone app, even 360 rotation, zoom in, pan & tilt without problems from any part of the world. You can take pictures or video over you phone instally or storage you file in cloud, or even reverse your image to install in the ceiling and the list continue. I have been tested this product for more than a year already and I own 3 of this cameras plus I bought another one as a gift for a brother.
