Took my Eclectus to my Avian Vet and she gave me the warnings of using sand or concrete perches. #1, the birds develop raw spots on the bottoms of their feet. #2 Since they like to clean their beaks after eating, they will also rub their beaks on the perch so much to the point of thinning the beak to that causes the beak to crack or break. She said to use all natural wood and for me to get rid of mine. What a waste of money. Don’t buy these.

I was so disappointed. I was looking forward to adding this swing to my birds cage. I couldn't because the chain was so rusted on it when it arrived. Rust would be toxic to my bird if ingested.

This swing is really sturdy, and I think I've noticed my bird's nails are a little less long. I initially ordered the small size, but it was way too huge for my parrotlet. It wasn't just longer, but the diameter was a lot bigger. The extra small is just right. I think this will last a long time. The image is of the first swing i got, size small. The 2nd image us the extra small.

My diamond doves eagerly used this. Usually they aren’t attracted to swings, but for some reason they do like this one (: the chain was a little long, but it was a easy fix by lowering the hooks down the chain. I also removed the little plastic rings as doves don’t really “play” like that, so they weren’t necessary for my birds.

My Afican Grey absolutely loves this swing. I am so pleased with the quality of it. Every toy he's had he tears up, but this swing seemed to be parot proof. Plus playing on this swing is keeping his nails groomed. Would definitely recommend this swing.

I just purchased my Parakeet today. After about an hour, he settled onto to this perch and started to fall to sleep. Think I'm going to love this little one.

Within three days of hanging this swing our cockatoo chewed half of the plastic on one end, causing the chain to come off. It’s now useless.
