KitchenCraft Tub of Ceramic Baking Beans, 500g

This was a Christmas gift for sister. She bakes pumpkin pie for the holidays. She had been using pennies to bake the crust, but that wasn't working for her. She came across these on Amazon, she is one happy camper. Her pie crusts come out better than before. She's not doing anything differently other than using this product.

These are the best pie weights I have used. i have used others, but like the size of the best. I think you get more beans per container for your money with this brand than others I have previously purchased.

work great. enough to cover a 9 inch pie pan with a little up the sides. I wish there were about double, so I will order another. Like that it appears to be made in UK

If your a baker like I am these are a must for a perfect pie crust. Even if you buy pre made, you'll use these for a perfect, evenly baked pastry. They'll last you your life.

Generous, generous quantity of little clay thingys. When pie shell "blind baked" to a less than crispy state, they sort of stuck to the pie shell. And really, why else would you need baking beans, unless you were going to blind bake?
