Alessi 5180S24M "Nuovo Milano"24 Piece Cutlery Set, Silver

Had some of this cutlery and bought more to complete my set.

Perfect set - very good quality

Especially the knives, way too handle heavy, ALWAYS falls out of the dishes and onto the table or floor. Ready to toss these out

Had the set for a few weeks and the knives began to streak and rust. Emailed the seller who told me to contact Alessi customer service. Alessi representative asked me to send pictures, which I did promptly. After more than a month and several follow up emails the customer care rep has not responded.Compare that to a set of Oneida that these replaced that I had for more than 10 years, never rusted, no problems, 1/5 the cost.The silverware generally is not a good design. The pieces are not balanced, the shape of the handles makes them extremely heavy toward the ends, the knives especially. When resting them on a plate the weight will often cause them to flip up, falling off the plate and onto the table, floor, lap.

Great value to replenish the cutlery I already had. Something worth pointing out is the spoons included are coffee spoons (smaller than tea spoons)

Lived up to expectations arising from previously acquired similar sets.

Further set to add to one purchased last year

Expensive but you get what you pay for. Excellent quality.

Bought to add to my existing set bought about 12 years ago. Exactly the same except the teaspoons are smaller!
