Having tried numerous different bark correctors we truly didn't believe any of them would actually work. Our dogs were barkers, in fact, they excelled at barking which was a challenging issue for us due to having someone in the family with a severe nerve issue which is easily triggered by the high pitch sound of the barking. Our dogs are part of our family so we needed to find a good option. Add to it all the fact we travel for a living and are in and out of hotel rooms most of the year. It is hard enough to find a hotel that accepts dogs, nevertheless, will tolerate barking. We had all but given up after using every possible bark corrector on the market...until we found the Pet Corrector. We didn't have much hope that a little can of air could do much good but the ratings were astounding on this little product so for the price, we decided we didn't have much to loose by giving it a try. When it arrived we were even less impressed but read all the directions and prepared to start training. What can we say, it not only controlled the barking but other bad habits as well. It took about 3 times of using the corrector which is sprayed into the air as the dog is barking or preforming whatever habit you wish them to discontinue. It is quick and painless but it causes them to stop in theirs tracks. The behavior stopped almost immediately. You can have it on hand but will find, if you use it correctly, will not need to administer it very often. It was unbelievable. Our dogs rarely bark now. They will bark if they sense real danger, like someone jiggling the door handle at a time when the family is not expected home. It does not seem to take away their natural instinct to bark when danger is present but does curb unnecessary barking. No longer is it a bark fest every morning in the hotel room as people begin leaving their rooms and the doors begin to slam shut, or when they hear someone in the hall or just to get attention. We even noticed that without the need to bark at everything, they have calmed down and seem more at peace and relaxed. It actually calmed down their personalities which was an added benefit we hadn't planned on receiving from a little can of air. We cannot recommend this more highly. It is the most humane way to curb the barking and yet still retain the instinct to bark when needed. It is an excellent product that every dog owner having difficulty with barking should consider.

We have 2 dogs and have tried several methods to stop barking and other unwanted behaviors. We tried water spraying and other high pitch sound devices. Nothing had been very effective. I had tried electric devices that say they produced the high pitch sound, but they didn't really work. Thought we'd try one more type. Boy does it work! This is the best by far! It is simple, just a spray can with a special nozzle. It literally stops my dogs in their tracks. Even from 20 feet away. One quick blast is enough to stop them doing whatever they are doing. Even when frantically barking at the delivery guy..lol. It seems to cause discomfort without harming them. The only challenge is having it when you need it. But it will fit in most pockets. A holster would be perfect. I have bought 2 so I can keep one in the kitchen and also one in the living area. It sounds like a loud hairspray can to me, but it must have the higher pitch that irritates dogs. It has no smell that I can detect. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a simple, effective correction device.

My miniature poodle has a very loud bark and barks constantly. This product works great, immediately stopped the barking and is teaching her not to bark at every movement. It makes a loud spray sound, but it is just air so it is just the sound that stops the barking. The down side is if used to stop the barking, it will run out of air in about 3-4 days so in my opinion it is too expensive. I have bought three so far, am not happy with the price.

I have a HIGHLY reactive fear aggressive pit mix who literally goes through the ceiling and to infinity and beyond when over threshold. We’ve been training for years to help curb these behaviors (he was a kill list dog at the pound) and basically nothing has worked in any significant way and I was starting to believe maybe he’s just genetically unfit. We’ve tried balanced training and negative reinforcement and positive training with high value treats and slow exposure etc etc. I’m am experienced animal trainer and consistent with him but this dog has been really hard to get through to when he’s in that high arousal mode. I bought this after moving next to a neighbor who lets their dog roam at large unsupervised 24/7. It was impossible for me to create distance and deal with the off leash dog in my yard as well as work with my own exploding dog in any reasonable way. Every time we went outside it was a rage war. I thought to myself I’m probably wasting money again but what the hell I’ll try anything at this point. This product works! It’s the best thing I’ve ever spent money on for my dog. It has allowed me to gently immediately redirect him when he starts to rage and now after about a week of use he’s starting to look at me first and respond to verbal commands to “leave it” and settle down. I haven’t had to use the corrector as much and my dog and I are actually communicating effectively. He’s never stopped being locked in his rage brain after escalating before. We went from him trying to break through a window to get to the neighbors dog to being able to sit at the window and watch a cat go by without freaking out. My dog still has a long way to go but this product has helped us immensely. Use it appropriately and it’s a fantastic training aid. I can’t believe I never tried something like this sooner. 100% recommend!!!!!! Not an instant fix, dedication training is the fix but holy crap this is the best reactive dog training aid I’ve ever found.

Ich hatte gelesen, unter den Kundenbewertungen aus den USA und GB, dass Pet Corrector wirklich nicht bei jedem Hund funktioniert. Einige Hunden sollen sich davon völlig unbeeindruckt zeigen. Also waren wir sehr gespannt, wie unser Hund reagieren würde. Der Hund ist ein 4-jähriger schäferhundähnlicher kastr. Mischling aus einem Tierheim, der sich absolut normal verhält, wenn er frei ist; an der Leine mutiert er leider zum Tiger, sobald er einen anderen Hund erspäht: er zieht sehr kräftig, bellt wie verrückt, stellt sich auf die Hinterbeine, die ganze Show also - peinlich! Ein Hundetrainer hat übrigens auch keine Änderung bewirken können. Den Pet Corrector habe ich bestellt nach dem Motto: was soll's, wahrscheinlich wieder Geld aus dem Fenster aber probieren wir das auch noch mal.. Yuhuu! Es klappt mit unserem Hund! Nach wenigen Tagen reicht es ihm schon, die rote Dose zu sehen, und schon ist er ruhig. Ich habe ein gutes Gewissen, denn es ist ja kein Pfefferspray! Ein lautes Zischen und das war' s. Habe inzwischen schon für den Nachbarn nachbestellt. Mal sehen, ob es auch mit dessen Hündin klappt.

J'ai acheté ce produit sur les conseils d'un éducateur pour corriger un comportement non approprié chez mon berger blanc. En promenade, si on voit des chiens derrière des portails par exemple c'est la misère.... l'autre chien aboie en général, et le mien debout sur ses pattes arrières est impressionnant alors que c'est un toutou adorable en général. J'utilise ce produit quand on est dans cette situation et uniquement cette situation, donc peu souvent. Et au bout de quelques fois, il a suffit que je sorte le spray de ma poche, que mon toutou le voit et il passe devant les portails en regardant le chien bien sur mais sans se prendre la tête. Pour moi c'est un bon point car il y a correction efficace avec un bruit qui surprend et qui détourne l'attention dans un premier temps. Je ne parle pas de peur car il renifle le flacon quand je l'ai dans la main sans en avoir peur. C'est le bruit qui surprend. Pour moi ce bruit est suffisamment fort. Je recommande ce produit et je conseille le flacon de 50 cl car même si il dépasse, il tient dans une poche. En terme de prix, je trouve assez cher mais comme c'est vraiment utile, et bien ma foi.....

This was recommended to me by my dogs trainer, he used it during initial training and it worked right away. When using this properly it is very affective. You have to use it as a very quick spray and keep using your word command!!! This does not replace verbal or hand commands, if you do not use it this way you will not be successful. And always always reward when they do not to the incorrect behaviour next time without the spray being used. This should also not be a long term thing… correct the behaviour as mentioned above and going forward you should only need your verbal or hand commands. If you are using this long term you’re doing something incorrectly. And you don’t need to put this spray near their face or anything, the sound enough will work so just be smart and careful and don’t traumatize your dog :).
