Blade Inductrix Switch RC Micro Drone RTF 3-in-1 (Switchable Mini Drone, Hovercraft, Watercraft) with LED Lights, 2.4GHz Transmitter, Battery & USB Charger: BLH9800 (Red)

This is number 7 of drones the drones i own and fly and it is a great indoor flyer. I have taken it outside on calm days had a blast with it also. It is a great beginner drone and with the propellers enclosed in the ducts it is good to prevent any injuries. I purchased the BNF version so i do not know about the stock flight controller but do know it bound right up to my Spektrum DX7s and flies well. My only and probably biggest complain as well as others on here is that the low battery warning and running out of power occur at the same time so i would fly over places where a sudden power loss would not be a problem. The stock batteries are 150 ma but after looking online i found 230 ma batteries that were a fit and extended the flight time significantly. I would recommend as a started quad indoor and outside also in perfectly calm conditions.

I can't say enough good things about this little guy. I have only had it for a week and I was compelled to write a review. I typically don't write reviews so soon so I will be sure to update it should my opinion change or should durability become an issue.First some background on my RC flying experience. Though I grew up driving RC cars, I have only been flying for about a month. I started out with a coaxial helicopter, the MCX2. I flew the MCX2 a lot for several weeks until I was quite comfortable with it and then decided to get a quad to check out the difference between the two types of copters and because I was looking for something a bit faster and more agile to fly indoors.I was looking for something very small with fairly precise fight as I typically fly in my relatively small living room and kitchen with the kids around. YouTube videos and Amazon reviews led me to this little quad. Others said it was extremely precise as if on rails, was small, and also durable.I have already ran about 25 batteries through this thing and it has been nothing but fun from the first battery. My very limited flight experience was definitely sufficient to fly it in stability mode as is very easy to fly. If you let go of the sticks in stability mode it just hovers in place with only minimal input to maintain altitude. The battery it comes with lasts about 4.5-5 minutes depending on how aggressively you fly. This quad is much more agile and much quicker that the coaxial heli I have been flying.It has two modes, a stability mode that it defaults to and the agility mode that you can enter by pushing down/in on the left control stick. I purchased the BNF (bind-n-fly) model and just used the controller from the MCX2 with it. It was very easy to bind once I read the instructions. When you enter agility mode, the bound/ready LED under the canopy will change from the solid blue color of stability mode to the solid red color indicating agility mode. In agility mode, it is very fast for a micro quad and was difficult for me to fly as it does not stop and correct itself when you let off the sticks, you have to give it constant input to get it to go were you want. In stability mode I was able to fly and land it in very precise locations which is great for indoor use as well (I was able to land it on a 6x6" square). Just as the left stick was able to be pushed in/down to put it into agility mode, the right stick can be pushed in/down to change the rates. If you are in stability mode for instance and push in the stick, the LED power indicator on the transmitter will begin and remain flashing while in low rate mode so you can fly extremely slowly and with very forgiving rates which would be good for an absolute beginner. It defaults to the high rate and solid LED indicator on the transmitter.It is very quiet. Compared to the MCX2, an MSR, a V911, or others I have heard and/or flown, it is maybe half as loud. It can be flown around without bothering people watching TV or talking which is a major plus for an indoor flyer. That said, although it is so small, it is not just an indoor flyer. It could be flown outside in a decent breeze as far as I can tell. I can fly it directly under the ceiling fan in our living room with little effect whereas my coaxial heli requires serious correction and gets tossed around under the fan.With my MCX2 heli I am always a little apprehensive about flying too close to the kids or letting them run after it as I don't want them to get hurt by the exposed blades but that is not a problem at all with this quad due to the ducted fans/blades. This is also good for protecting the TV. It is also small enough that I don't have to worry about it doing any damage to decorations (pictures, vases, etc...) if I accidentally bump into one.The only negative point I can think of is the low battery warning. My MCX2 coaxial heli would flash and reduce power and allow for a fairly graceful though quick landing whereas the Inductrix lights flash and it drops like a rock a second later. This was something I expected as I read about this in other reviews and heard about it on YouTube. Now that I know how long the battery lasts, I can set a timer on my phone for 4 minutes which will allow me time to bring it in for a more gentle landing and will also ensure not running the battery down too low so as not to damage the battery.It could definitely be a great first copter in stability mode with low rates selected in place of a fixed pitch heli like the V911 or coaxial. For $50 this is an amazing bang for your buck. I guess it would be around $70 if a first copter as you'd need to buy the RTF (ready to fly) if you don't already have a transmitter. Still well worth the money.

This drone is small, works out of the box, runs for about 10 minutes, and is REALLY fun to fly.Some important notes:- If you press the RIGHT stick directly IN, you will get a beep on the controller and this HALVES the control inputs from the controller, making the micro-drone much more stable for beginner pilots. Pressing the RIGHT controller directly IN a second time disables this 'easy' mode.- If you press the LEFT stick directly IN, this disables ALL flight stability mechanisms. It's possible to do flips, rolls, etc, and is very fun, but also very difficult to fly steady. Pressing the LEFT controller directly IN a second time disables this 'advanced' mode.Now, the downsides:- The small pieces of material that hold the ducts in place tend to crack easily. It WILL fly with a few of them cracked, but after a while they will hit the fan blades and require replacement - which means complete disassembly of the micro-drone and replacing the frame with this replacement part:  Blade Main Frame: Inductrix BLH8706 - If you make any number of hard landings the motors tend to slow, then die. I've replaced countless motors on my micro-drones. They seems way less durable than they should be. There are clockwise and counter clockwise motors so you will need to know which ones to purchase. Great little quad to learn with before building something bigger. Really stable and easy to fly. Make sure you get spare motors. One died after only 10 mins flight time but seller happily send me two new ones foc.

ich habe einige von den 65/65S Drohnen im Besitz. Fast jede ist modifiziert oder gar komplett zusammengelötet/gebaut.Mit anderen Worten ich habe einige Erfahrungen mit den "Tiny Whoops" sammeln können.Von der prinzipiellen Art entspricht sie den H36, E010 und und.... Der Preis ist jedoch mit 50€++ deutlich teurer als die 20€ Klasse und so fragen Sie sich vielleicht was ist der Mehrwert. Meine Meinung nach ist der Sender schonmal von einen ganz anderen Kaliber. Er liegt sehr gut in der Hand und die Joysticks lassen sich sehr feinfühlig bedienen. Beim Thema Sender muss ich auch gleich das Augenmerk auf den Empfänger (in der Drohne) richten. Er versteht das DSMX Protokoll und kann daher auch mit noch hochwertigen Fernbedienungen gesteuert werden. Auch nicht selbstverständlich, der Rahmen nimmt die Akku-Sticks auf von denen es derzeit sogar 260mAh große HV Lipos gibt. Ein 6er Pack solche Akkus kann man auf Amazon für 10€ erwerben und somit ist der Flugspaß auch länger. Sicherlich kann man in den schwarzen Rahmen der Mitbewerber auch ander Akkus unterbringen, jedoch ist dazu eine Modifikation des Rahmens nötig und die Garantie ist futsch.Wo Licht ist gibt es auch Schatten so hat meine Mutter immer gesagt und ja ich habe auch ein negatives hier zu berichten. Die Zeit die die Drohne zwischen erkennen der Akku geht zur Neige und Stop der Rotoren hat ist einfach zu kurz. In 90% alle Fälle geht die Drohne in eine Art Notlandung zu Boden. Da ich das Controllerboard Mehrfach in DIY Drohnen verbaut habe ist das also bei allen so. Meine Empfehlung beim ersten Flug Zeit stoppen und dann mit etwas Toleranz einen Timer laufen lassen. Diese Möglichkeit ist mit den erwähnten höherwertigen Sendern dann sogar onboard machbar. Alle anderen müssen ihre Uhr bemühen. Notfalls Muttis Eieruhr Zweckentfremden.Als letztes möchte ich noch darauf hinweisen die Bedienungsanleitung (sogar ausführlich und in deutsch) wirklich zu lesen. Es gibt einige Besonderheiten. Ich möchte hier nur erwähnen die Drohne kalibriert sich nachdem Akku anstecken selbst und sollte daher auf einer waagerechten Fläche stehen. Weiter ist so das die Drohne sich an den Sender bindet nicht wie die oben Genannten Sender an Drohne und zu guter letzt der rechte Joystick kann auch gedrückt werden und verringert die Speed/Agilität der Drohne auf ein anfängerfreundliches Niveau.

Ich hab den inductrix mal vor Ort im Modellbaugeschäfft fliegen sehen, da fand ich ihn schon wendig, flink und durch die Stabilisierung sehr gutmütig und für Anfänger wie mich sehr geeignet.Aus Langeweile (Krankheit) hab ich ihn mir hier spontan plus drei zusätzliche Akkus gekauft und hab's noch nicht bereut.Der Copter lässt sich sehr gut trimmen und nach geschätzt fünf Akkus hatte ich soweit Gefühl für die Steuerung entwickelt um die Sache auch etwas sportlicher angehen zu lassen. Ein kleiner Parcours um Tisch, Stuhl und Kratzbaum macht mächtig Spaß.Nach bestimmt 20 Akkuladungen und einigen Abstürzen kann ich die wenigen schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachempfinden. Ich hatte auch Rempler und Abstürze, aber ich fliege nicht Vollgas gegen die Wand. Gas gegeben wird nur wenn die Strecke frei ist. Und wenn's rumpelt, dann geht der Gassteller auf null, dann passier auch nichts, dafür ist der Copter zu leicht.Wem also bei den ersten Ausflügen direkt was bricht, der geht da zu forsch ran, da kann das Modell nix für.Was das Abschalten angeht, ja, der kommt fast runter wie ein Stein. Nach ein paar Akkus sollte man das aber im Gefühl haben, wann man eher nicht mehr mit Vollgas und knapp unter der Decke seine Runden dreht.Ich würde ihn mir wieder kaufen, bin jetzt auf jeden Fall angefixt und es wird wohl nicht mehr lange dauern bis zum nächsten Copter.Nachtrag :Nach weiteren mindestens 10 Akkus war dann auch ein Motor hinüber. Eine Mischung aus Verschleiß und Absturz auf den Impeller.Da die Motoren Original sehr teuer sind, habe ich zwei komplette Sets Motoren in den USA gekauft, mittleres Tuning mit 14000kv, zu 15$ je set.Damit ist der kleine etwas agiler, und wenn man möchte auch sehr schnell. Die Akkulaufzeit verringert sich minimal bei moderaten Flugmanövern. Googelt nach fpv headquarter, die haben einiges für den inductrix.

Ich fliege den Inductrix jetzt mit meiner neuen Spektrum DX6 und bin begeistert davon, wie präzise man ihn fliegen kann!Es war der erste Copter, mit dem ich in meiner Küche eine Acht fliegen konnte, ohne irgendwo an die Wand zu prallen (ich lerne erst seit ca. 4 Wochen fliegen).Durch die Verbindung zu einer "richtigen" Fernbedienung hat der Inductrix natürlich einige Vorteile in der Steuerung und in der Konfiguration, aber auch das Flugverhalten scheint mir durch die besonderen Propeller sanfter zu sein, als bei anderen Quadcoptern. Er hängt jedenfalls lange nicht so nervös am Throttle, wie andere Copter seiner Größe, sondern reagiert sehr sanft - was nicht heißen soll, dass er lahm ist! Das ist er nicht! Aber irgendwie liegt er "stabiler" in der Luft und lässt sich sehr rund fliegen.Die Lautstärke ist auch ein Vorteil für das Fliegen zuhause: er kommt mir nur halb so laut vor, wie andere Copter dieser Größe, und das Geräusch ist mehr ein sausendes Luftgeräusch, während andere Copter eher schrill klingen.Schön ist auch, dass man ihn auf den Agility Mode umstellen kann - auch wenn ich das bisher noch gar nicht beherrsche, so gibt es einem doch die Möglichkeit, diese Steuerung zu üben.An der Robustheit habe ich nichts auszusetzen, bisher ist er doch schon einige Male abgestürzt oder gegen die Wand geflogen: bisher ging überhaupt nichts kaputt, dafür also bisher Note 1Leicht negativ ist nur, dass die Akkuwarnung so spät kommt, dass er praktisch eine Sekunde nach Beginn der Warnung aus dem Himmel fällt. Die Warnung ist an der Stelle also eher eine Absturz-Warnung nach dem Motto: Achtung, ich stürze jetzt ab. Machen kann man in dem Moment nichts mehr dagegen.Man kann natürlich bei der Fernbedienung den Timer richtig einstellen - aber wenn man verschiedene Akkugrößen besitzt, muss man den Timer jedes Mal richtig einstellen. Aber nachdem die Profis sowieso sagen, dass man möglichst nie bis zur Warnung fliegen sollte, sondern immer per Timer noch großzügig Zeit geben sollte, ist das wohl nicht so schlimm, sondern erzieht den Nutzer zum richtigen Verhalten (= Timer nutzen und nicht die Warnung abwarten)

I would like to say that the one I received originally did not work. It was purchased as a prime from Amazon but they had none left so I had to get a refund. But the wonderful people at customer service fixed my problem. They managed to track down another one to send me instead of having to refund my money!I have received the replacement and it works wonderfully! If anyone tells you they have an inductrix killer, they are wrong! Nothing I have flown in this class comes anywhere close to being as stable. Just make sure you get extra batteries!
