No longer available. :(
On July 21, 2016, I called the Mars company, who owns Whiskas, after being unable to find this product locally and noticing it was no longer eligible for Amazon Prime. I learned that the company is no longer producing the food in the trays due to it not selling well.I find that hard to believe, based on all of the reviews on here. My two older cats are almost exclusively on this food because of its low protein. and they love the flavor. The Mars customer service recommended Sheba and Iams brands, both also owned by Mars.I'm also noticing the national. pet stores are also going to a more "high end" food. That' fine - I'd gladly pay more, but my cats do not eat the very high end foods. One of my cats has been exclusvely on this food for several months as we work with the vet to find out the cause of a bump on her stomach. Without the availability of the food any longer, I've had to move to the Whiskas in a pouch - and the ingredients don't even read like food. But, my vet has advised me to stick with one protein (fish) within one brand, so right now I don't have any other option until we get the diagnosis resolved. If anyone has a close alternative to the Whiskas food in the trays, please post a review or email me at [email protected] you.

Only product cat will eat
The product is not quite the same as what I bought at the grocers. Too much liver in the mix. The cat eats it but always leaves some in the dish. Don't have much choice...this product is not available anymore in the stores (anyone know why?)...and the cat won't eat anything else! Am grateful to Amazon to still have it available.

Our finicky eater refuses to touch this
Our Edwin would eat this when he was younger but I stopped purchasing it when our local store stopped carrying it. When I found it here on Amazon, I purchased it so he would have more variety of foods in his life (he is very finicky) but he absolutely refuses to eat this now. So, I will have to give away the remaining packages. I am giving it three stars, however, as he is extremely picky and has grown accustomed to grain-free, human grade food only. A normal cat probably would enjoy this brand.

Three Cat's Favorite Flavor, Momma's Favorite Packaging
My 3 cats all love this flavor, Whiskas Captain's Catch. It's simple to pull open, mix up, and split up. It's like pate in a sauce, so you've got to be careful when you mix it up, otherwise sauce will end up on your counters. Same with opening it--open it flat. When you mix it up, it has a nice fluffy consistency, easy to scoop out.I used to get super-premium cat food, spending $1.50 per can. Now I serve them Captain's Catch for their p.m. treat, and save myself lots of money. Thanks Whiskas. One of my cats eats very fast, then goes for the other cat's food, so I mash her portion flat on her plate. It slows her down so that the other cats get enough time to eat.I recommend. Plus, doesn't "stink".

I don't say it is great my cat's say it is purfect
I have purchased this for my cat's who love turkey dinners. I got this and they gobble this right up and have almost no waste as some of the cat foods I have purchased. I like that it comes out of the container easy and do not need a spoon to scoop this out. The smell is not terrible either. I got enough to last them for almost a month and that is handy for me. I like that I can get this delivered to my door step and not have to take the car to the store and burn gas getting this. I would say if your cat likes turkey then pick them up some and they will thank you for this.

My cat gave this 2 paws down.
Not sure how this is so different from the whiskas pouches that I get, but my kitty won't touch it even when she's starving. I hate to waste money, so I tried to get her to eat this stuff when I ran out of the others, but even when she has no other options, she won't touch this. I tried a few times. In the end I had to throw away the whole case.

Good for a limited-protein diet
Last fall my cat got sick, and it turned out he had a congenital liver and gall bladder problem. The vet suggested putting him on a limited-protein diet, so I started looking in the store for the wet foods lowest in protein. Most commercial foods have a min protein of 9%, 10% or more. The Whiskas is 8%, which is the level the vet had suggested.Fortunately, my cat loves the Whitefish & Tuna and Captain's Catch varieties -- he's a seafood lover, so we stick with the seafood flavors. He's been eating the Whiskas for 8 months now, and shows no sign of tiring of it.

Poor packaging.
This is the only wet food my cat will eat so I thought it would be good to buy a case. Opening the carton, I was not pleased to find many of the food packs in poor shape. One was kind of bulging. I ended up throwing away about a third of the contents. The rest were fine.
