I don't know if i received a defective high back seat, but after 3 months of use - September, May, June, it is no longer functional. The gel is leaking from it creating a sticky goo on your hands when touched. It bunched up on the back and became unusable. I am unable to find a warranty, but if the makers see this review and are able to swap this, I'd gladly take this down. The product had promise and was decent before it fell apart (the exact issue is one of the product claims that wouldn't happen).

The back cushion is great. I’ve been in the seat for almost 7 hours straight and my back wasn’t hurting at all. This was a big concern because I’ve had back issues in the past so I needed some support there. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the seat. The seat cushion is small and the straps that hold it on are to short so I can’t get it positioned well. It ends of being uncomfortable. After about 2 hours my rear is sore. Going to have to keep looking or rig up some longer straps to position it better.

I love this seat! I use it in my used beat up kayak and I also take it with me if I go kayaking on the river and rent a kayak. The difference was amazing between the time I didn’t bring the seat where I couldn’t even stand up out of the Kayak and then my next trip where I brought my seat and it was 150% better. Comfortable sturdy and I love it

The high-back size fits perfect in my Victory Blast sit-in Kayak. I just completed a 5 hour trip through the Ghost River Section of the Wolf River and it would not have been as much fun with the bare plastic seat. Easy to install and just rinse off afterwards. Enough of a cushion to make things much more comfortable.

I wouldn't say this gives maximum support but it did make sitting on my kayak a bit more comfortable. I do like that it dries quickly.

These seat cushions did the job. We were able to hook them right over the existing seat back so we didn’t even have to install them. We have plain molded plastic bottom seat in our kayaks and these made our seats way more comfortable. It was definitely worth it. Helps to support my back also

My ocean going kayak has a nasty fiberglass bone crushing seat. This yakpad is perfect for the extended trips. No aches and pains where it counts. This may sound like an advertisement for yakpad but I'm about to order a second one for my smaller in-shore yak. A little pricey but in "the end" it's worth it.
