Perfect Footswitch for Boss RC-3 Loop Station
Those of you familiar with the Boss RC-3 Loop Station know that Boss has optional external footswitches that can be used with the unit. The problem with Boss' FS-5U and FS-6 is their size. So I researched compatible pedals (Momentary & Normal Open) and came upon this little pedal. Works perfectly and fits great on my compact pedalboard!! It has an A&B jack to where you can use a Stereo TRS patch cable to plug into the Boss and you can recall patches, stop loops, clear loops, etc. from the footswitch making it much easier to use the RC-3 live without sacrificing too much pedalboard space. The only negative I'll say is that the pedal only works with power (not passive) so it will take up a power slot on your pedalboard's power supply. But still, a great product in my view. Seems sturdy, well made and the switches feel smooth and responsive. Hopefully it will last but for now, very satisfied with its compatibility with the RC-3 and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a switch for the RC-3.

Works great with Nux Cerberus
Dual button footswitch. The switches are silent. The unit is well-built and should last a lifetime. There is also a connection for a power adapter so the led lights will work to show status. I don't need that. So, I haven't plugged it in. I'm using it with the Nux Cerberus and it works great. One of the minor complaints about the Nux Cerberus is that the tap tempo button is a click type making it less than optimum to tap in the time. This foot switch fixes that. For this application, the foot switch is in latch mode (3 modes: Latch, Open, Close) with a TRS cable. Now, I can turn on and off the ModFx separately from the chorus with one switch and a smooth tap tempo on the other.

Very well built. Looks great
I wish this foot switch would have worked for my pedal board set up. It is very well built. The size is great. Smaller than the boss FS-7 with similar features. If it would work for your set up, then I’d highly recommend it.

Great universal foot switch
First I'll say that I was looking for a controller for my Boss RC-10R looper pedal. Boss offers the single switch FS-5U and dual switch FS-6 and FS-7 pedals. I found this Nux pedal for about half the price of Boss dual switch pedals and it's much more compact. It works great with the Boss looper. Side note if you plan on using same setup... You'll have to set it on Open (not Closed or Latch) and use a power adapter and it'll do same functions as a Boss switch. Mind the power requirements like 9V and center negative (-) polarity. You'll also need a 1/4" TRS (stereo) patch cable.Pros:- good construction- universal with latch setting and momentary (open or closed) setting- small but good weightCons:- no power adapter includedI don't appreciate how power adapter was not included so I took off 1 star. I guess this is somewhat common and ok if you have a multi effects power supply but I don't. I actually used the power adapter that was bundled by the seller of the Boss looper. Those extras do come handy.Great switch and I'd recommend it!

Great with the Boss RC-1
Just what I needed to use with my Boss RC-1 looper. Works great with a stereo patch cable to allow deleting a phrase without playing it, not to mention the 2 extra buttons making the pedal a lot easier to use. Great quality and cheaper than the Boss switches.

Passive (unpowered) mode is normally OPEN (not closed)
The product description says that when the pedal is unpowered, the switches can operate as a normally closed switches. Normally closed means the switches would be connected and stepping on them opens (disconnects) the circuit. The description is wrong, because the switches operate as normally open when the switch us not powered. I was intending on using this with my Boss RC-5 looper pedal. I didn't want to run power to the switch pedal. Unfortunately, I can't use the switch with the boss pedal because it requires normally closed switches.

Works for what I bought it for but has a bug
I bought the NMP-2 pedal for two reasons. To use as the channel and reverb switch on my Marshall amp or to use as extra control buttons on my NUX Cerberus FX pedal. It works fine on the Marshall to replace the broken channel switching pedal. I don't gig with that amp, so for gigs I use the NMP-2 to add extra functionality to the NUX Cerberus. I currently have it set to to control the modFx and the boost. I then use the Cerberus CTRL switch for Reverb. This setup works great and required hooking up the Cerberus to a computer via USB.There is an annoying bug, however. If I plug into the DC to power the unit's indicator lights, the lights work great but hitting the buttons only turn off/on the lights on the first press. It then requires a second press of the button to actually do the task. Then the 3rd press turns on the light but takes a 4th press to do the task. Annoying as sh*t since the point of having the light was to be able to know at a quick glance the state of the effect. The easy workaround is to just not use the DC input and have no lights. Then the device works as advertized. I just have to watch the Cerberus screen to see if the boost says ON or OFF which only lasts a few seconds. For the ModFX I just have to listen carefully. The build quality is great. The size is great. The features are great. Even with the bug using the DC input, this switch pedal has been a great buy. I also have some Boss FSU pedals and this thing takes up a lot less space and has more options.
