The only toaster you’ll ever need
I don’t usually get excited about kitchen appliances, but this SMEG 4-slice toaster is genuinely on another level. First, the design alone is enough to make you want it—it’s that perfect blend of retro charm and modern luxury that instantly upgrades the whole countertop. It feels solid, premium, and just beautiful to look at. Functionally, it’s fantastic. The toasting is consistent every single time, and I love that each side works independently so I can do toast on one set and bagels on the other without fighting for settings. The bagel mode is chef’s kiss—crispy on the cut side, warm on the other. The wider slots also handle everything from thick sourdough slices to frozen waffles with no problem. The controls are smooth, the browning levels are accurate (no random burnt surprises!), and it even lifts the toast high enough that you don’t burn your fingers fishing anything out. It feels like SMEG really thought through every detail. Is it pricier than the average toaster? Absolutely. But the design, craftsmanship, and consistent performance make it more than worth it. It’s one of those rare products that makes everyday life feel just a little more elevated. Highly recommend—this toaster is a 10/10.

Beautiful Toaster
My wife and I have had our eye on this Smeg toaster for quite a while and we finally decided to indulge ourselves and buy it. It’s beautifully designed and looks great in our kitchen. It’s the perfect size. This is a high quality product with lots of features including: 6 different heat settings, bagel, defrost, and reheat. Lastly, the color is just superb. We’re going to be looking forward to many years of use with this toaster.

I have been searching for many years to find a toaster that can actually brown the bread. This toaster is made of high quality material and produces the perfect slice of toast for me.

It's Just Ok
I truly believe when people spend more than $ $250 on something ther brain combines them they have something worth bragging about. Something prestigious and high end. And unfortunately with that mindset comes the idea that the item is worth more than what it actually delivers. We even lie to ourselves. I'm a fan of smeg appliances and this is one of a few pieces I own. And also the most disappointing. I purchased a separate grilled cheese pannini basket. That was a let down because the slots were too thin to really make a sandwich worth anything. But the toaster itself was the largest let down. But before I get into that...I must say the unit out of the box has an air of arrogance..a beauty in a class all its own. Gaudy button dot dials and super atomic aged classic sheen. It's beautiful. Feels high end. Heavy and looks the part of a machine worth bragging about. However I wad left underwhelmed and embarrassed to admit what I spent on a toaster that hasn't been capable of evenly toasting a single slice of bread since we unboxed it. That's right The quality of this machine is only skin deep. The mechanisms inside of it make it fall flat. Uneven toasting. For a machine as expensive as this it's simply...unacceptable
