Wow This is Easy!
This was surprisingly easy to use to remove metal band watch links on a new watch. I just followed simple YouTube videos on how to size how many links to remove, and then how to remove them. You just need the right tool for the job, and guided instruction (YouTube). I am an avid do-it-yourself-er and handyman in my own home, but I still think this doesn't require much other than reasonably OK hand control to line up pins and pop them out or knock them in. If you can replace a light-bulb, you can probably do this. I had always relied on professional watch repair shops, but they are now much harder to come by (usually was a shop in a Sears or in the mall), require a special trip to drop off, wait, pick up. Now just a prime order, and did it myself in 20-30 minutes. This set offers a variety of tools, rather than buying a small subset for just what you think you need, and having to buy more and pay more later. For link removal, it comes with both ways you would usually remove, a little tap tool and hammer, or a screw-driven vice that pushes it out. I actually found the screw tool easiest for my stubborn pins. To put back in you use the hammer and little tap tool to recess the pin like normal. Plus it comes with a variety of replacement pins if you were to bend one on accident, or lose one. And it has the right tool for removing the watch band. Quality-wise, it seemed rock solid and as good as I could have expected. I figure with this one set, I'm set for watch band replacements & resizing for life :) .The only thing I had to add myself was a set of pliers and soft grip drawer liner to pull on some of my pins to get them all the way out. I think the arrows for direction on the back of my watch had the pins inserted the opposite way on one side, so they caught on the way out too. The other half was much easier. I just used a set of pliers and drawer liner to not gouge the pins. I had to either pull or hammer all the way back in at that point. I ended up using the little cloth as a work space, the screw-like tool to punch the pin loose, the band holder for tapping, the hammer, and the little tap tool for hitting the recessed head.

Great Value! Works Well
I bought this to replace the batteries on two watches. The kit includes all the necessary tools to open up the backs of watches, and to make adjustments to band links, as well as to replace bands. It also has a booklet with clear instructions and pictures. It also includes an email address for video instructions. You can also search online videos. I was immediately able to use it to open my watches. The tools appear to be of reasonably good quality. All in all, it exceeded my expectations on quality, and at under $10 was a great price. Definitely a good choice for anyone who occasionally needs to replace a battery, strap, or shorten a link. NOTE: It does not include watch batteries, you still have to go buy those yourself, which is quite reasonable as those cost a few dollars each and come in a variety of sizes. But it does include a 4 band pins in each of 18 sizes, as well as a selection of watch band cotter pins.

Perfect for the DIY person
The set has worked for 10 plus watch battery replacements so far. These are not tools that will last a lifetime, but definitely worth the money. I'm sure I will get dozens and dozens more battery replacements from this tool set.My only issue was with a better quality "water proof" watch with a pry off cover. The cover was definitely a challenge to get off. The tool for this worked, but the prying edge is now slightly damaged. I'm sure it will make it through a couple more of these types of watch covers, but it would not be up to a daily challenge. All in all, a reasonable price for a good set for home use tools.

If you have pre-smart watches this is a great buy!
This watch repair kit has a lot of the things that you need in the event that you break a watch band, that you need to unscrew the bottom of a watch, or pry it open and has all the tools necessary. There are additional spring pins. it has so many awesome things it was great. I was able to repair 7 watches replace the batteries in all of them remove the pins on the watches that were complete bands versus clasp bands and do it all-in-one night so I think this was worth the cost. Batteries are not included, neither are tiny watch screws

Worked great for watch link adjustment
I got a new watch and needed to remove a few watchband links to size it. This kit looked like it had a number of useful tools so I selected it. The link pin press pressed out the pins quite easily. I used the little hammer and the watch band holder block to replace the pins and they worked fine also. I lastly used one of the punch pins to adjust the spring bar (pin?) on the clasp. The tools I used all worked well and appeared to be well made. I figured I would have to pay $10 to $15 to get the watch sized at a jewelry repair shop. For that price I now have the tools to do it myself.

A so-so compromise
This kit has quite a collection of tools and several pins to repair your watch at home! Some items are cheap, though none have broken as of yet..... only used it a few times. The black plastic block that holds the watch body, could use a scalloped out area between the vise like paddles, to facilitate the repair of newer fatter body watches. Casio watches have square thick bodies that slip out or off the vise like block. It made it difficult to hold it in place. This vise should have extenders that could be slipped on to provide better hold. Those extenders better have a rubber surface in which to keep the watch from popping out of the vise. The two ended tool for the spring bars that one has to remove to get a different strap on, are very handy. Overall I give this package a 7 for what it is and what it contains plus what it still needs to improve on. Worth getting for the money. An average buy.

Adequate watch tool set...excellent value
Handy tool set for anyone with a watch collection. The tools are medium quality tools but they are more than adequate for most simple watch repairs. I especially like the watch band pin remover....solid metal an worked beautifully. The tool set is excellent value for the money and it will pay for itself after one watch band adjustment ( compared to going to a jewelry shop).

My dad loves this package. Save lots of money fixing watches
I don't really know how great this package is but my dad really loves it. He said it saves him lots of money compared to bringing the watches out to the store to fix. It is also easy to use and the tools could apply to various types of watches. Great product so far.
